    Is it just me of do many people find themselves cfreating images in their minds about what other posters look like?

    I've never met most people of the boards buts its funny how by reading their posts and their writing style you form images of what they're like.

    I'm probably way way off in most cases, but I'll probably turn up at a boards beers just to find out....

    I used to, but dont really anymore.. You never know what to expect, although you generally cant go wrong giving them a beard or glasses, and before thats taken up the wrong way, I myself have a beard and glasses.

    Now I just picture them as people that look like their avatars, and Lots and lots of ninjas :D

    If we're going to go by avatars I think I better change mine.
    Just looked at some of the pictures of some members. Completely different to what I thought.

    Yeah I wouldn't doubt that.

    Tho I make a mental image of everyone depending on what boards they post on.

    For example, people who post excessively on 'geek' boards such as scifi/lotr/afterhours are given the comic book guy look by me.

    People on soccer are given the generic Dublin 'schtorrry bud?' look by me.

    People on music and films get the 'stew-dent / ifc regular' look.

    You'll normally find you're waaaay off. My image of posters is most commonly pissed on when I find out that they're actually male/female, when I originally though otherwise. Most memorable 'changers' were eth0_ and Molly.

    Azezil does look scarily like his current avatar :p

    And I am a blue-eyed robot in a Ninja Cat costume.
