I've never met most people of the boards buts its funny how by reading their posts and their writing style you form images of what they're like.

I'm probably way way off in most cases, but I'll probably turn up at a boards beers just to find out....

I used to, but dont really anymore.. You never know what to expect, although you generally cant go wrong giving them a beard or glasses, and before thats taken up the wrong way, I myself have a beard and glasses.

Now I just picture them as people that look like their avatars, and Lots and lots of ninjas

Yeah I wouldn't doubt that.

Tho I make a mental image of everyone depending on what boards they post on.

For example, people who post excessively on 'geek' boards such as scifi/lotr/afterhours are given the comic book guy look by me.

People on soccer are given the generic Dublin 'schtorrry bud?' look by me.

People on music and films get the 'stew-dent / ifc regular' look.

You'll normally find you're waaaay off. My image of posters is most commonly pissed on when I find out that they're actually male/female, when I originally though otherwise. Most memorable 'changers' were eth0_ and Molly.

Tbh my avatar has changed over the years to look like me. it started off as the nerd from The Far Side, then was Fry for a while, then became shaggy. I'm gonna have to change it a wee bit now after my encounter with a haircut and a razor

Im 5'11 and look very much like Leo Di Caprio which actaully annoys me he such a girl

But yeah I often make up a picture in my head of what someone would look like..........im usually very disappointed. Especially by the people that flame all the time....ypu always expect someone much more impressive.

I dont look like my avatar but its my personality it reflects.
I always imagine Merc_Tilt to be a tall, skinny white skin with freckles nordie. Dunno why, Gandalf I imagined to be really friendly looking, and when smiles put up the know ur nerds he looked exactly as I thought, friendly round face

Id say that Bug is a little over five foot with quite large dark eye her natural hair colour is dark but it is more than likly died. Average figure and a good smile.

I said dark eyes cuz I guessed dark compelxtion and the hair I thought either brown or dark, but I had a feeling you would have died it, that why I said natural hair colour not too bed .
