Everyone has a crush on Paul... & he knows it.

Wasn't he banging the presenter of the American version of GBBO?

    Still is, I think

He'd want to be careful, she might only be after his dough or he might put a bun in her oven

I was hoping Kimberley would get baker of the week. I thought her showstopper bread was beautiful.

I was disappointed with Lucy. I would love to know what she was thinking when she decided to go rustic and simplistic. It was never going to work.

I still don't have a definite favourite unlike last year where I loved Brendan!

btw, this thread should have a spoiler alert on it. We don't sit down until Sunday as a family to watch the repeat....that's this weeks episode spoiled for me! :( Or maybe I can get them to start betting

I'm not a Paul fan either. He loves himself a bit too much.

Definitely thought that Kimberly deserved star baker. Ruby annoys me with her nervous twitching all the time.

The show got canceled in the US and his co-host has no interest in moving to the UK so I don't think they are still together.

If you don't want the episode spoiled, then don't read the thread until you've watched it.

I love Kimberly, definitely think she should have got star baker this week. Her and Frances are my favourites so far. Oh and Ali, he's a sweetie!

Ali is definitely the funniest one out of them. I find at this stage, I'm still not sure of all of their names but they seem to be an ok bunch. Lucy did very poorly though, I wonder if she felt she wasn't up to it and just stuck to safe basics or if that is genuinely the best she could do? I'd be surprised that she got through if that were the case.

I miss Cathryn "Oh my giddy aunt". She could absolutely have her own show.

I am flummoxed by what that presenter is wearing. Men's jeans three sizes too big that have been worn servicing a car, if I'm not mistaken.

That Paul bloke - I just want to punch him. Mary is lovely.

The date of the episode is absent in the thread title, I made the simple mistake of clicking into the thread not realising that the new episode had aired. How hard is it to put (spoiler alert) in the thread title?

Well it's fairly obvious that people are going to be discussing each episode as it airs, since that's what this thread is about. You said yourself that you watch the repeat on Sundays, so it would have been clever to check what day the episode airs first before reading the thread.

Have a look at how the forum is organised... http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=227

The ones I am following with 'Spoilers' in the title I avoid. The ones with dates I avoid if I want to watch the programme first.
All I'm asking for is consistency...and yes I am fallible and sometimes stupid.

There are no spoiler tags in any of the threads on the front page of the forum http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=545

Just PM one of the mods and ask them to include it in the thread title if it's a problem.

Just trying to save others from spoiling the show.

Seen the trailer for this week, looks like another great evening of viewing. Love when it starts to get more intricate and demanding of the bakers.

Did anyone see the picture of Deborah's husband and son? Her son looks about 3 or 4 and she's 51, wow! Her husband looks pretty young too!

    One thing confuses me..

When Mel and Sue said "You'll be making something but we don't want Paul and Mary to know, so if you could leave the room.." and Paul and Mary left.
Then Mel and Sue said "You'll be making floating islands".

Cut to a shot of Paul and Mary eating floating islands outside and saying how hard it was going to be for the contestants.

But I thought they didn't know what they'd be making?

    I'm confused.

She's only 51? She looks much older.

The right people went this week. Some of the petit fours were amazing.

Was at my mothers tonight and this was on and she said the exact same thing. :pac:

I know, I thought she was older too but when they showed the picture of her with her son I went onto the FB page to check!

They don't want to know who is cooking which one, as opposed to what they're cooking.
