I change them when they start following me out the bedroom door.

I know plenty of lads like that. It usually all changes when they start seeing a girl though, they make an effort to change the sheets and whatnot. ;P

No hope for me and my habits so :pac:

I don't understand it myself, it's pretty disgusting. Besides, there's no better feeling than hopping out of the shower and into a freshly made, crisp and clean bed. Ahhhh...

The scent of air dryed linen...fcuk. Heaven.

A thing I don't get, why can't they have duvet covers with zips? :(

I see nothing wrong with this...The effort levels required to change sheets every week are far too great for me :pac:

Its a way of increasing the pheromones in men. Also a stronger smell off a man makes them more dominant in the animal kingdom.
This is also why when couples get together there are more showers, clean sheets, etc. (She dosen't want him attracting anymore female mates)

I know a couple of local winos that could prove that theory wrong (unless the animal kingdom you're referring to is the canine one)

So that's why dogs always hump my leg.

A friend of mine says that "only dirty people wash".
He says that if your not dirty then why wash.
Same with the sheets i'd imagine.

Now jaysus, I knew that the habits of single men were something that should be kept in their own four walls, but WTF?

A new survey has revealed that the average single British man changes his sheets only four times, wait for it, a year.

According to Digital Spy, a poll was carried out by mattress company Ergoflex which explored the hygiene habits of 2004 participants.

Of those who changed their sheets once every 3 months, 71% were men and 55% were aged between 18-24

    http://her.ie/story/average-single-man-changes-bed-sheets-how-many-times-a-year-418475

Eeeeuwwwww! Maybe science should check those sheets out, could be a cure to cancer there.

To me thy should be changed every 10day... what do ya'll reckon?

But how many of the 2004 participants in the survey changed their sheets every 3 months? of them 71% were male so the actual number could be tiny.

There was a thread on here a year or two ago on whether or not people wash their hands after having a piss. You'd be genuinely depressed at how many men used a similar argument to justify not doing it.

A friend of mine's boyfriend lived away from home for a year. After he'd moved back home she found out that he hadn't changed the sheets at all for a year. :(

I hated washing my sheets because it's a pain in the ass drying them in a small apartment.

Well, you can be guaranteed that he didn't stray at all for that year.

When single, I change mine about once every 3 weeks. In a relationship, much much more. It's a pain in the arse. :(

I've just been inspired to change my sheets. Tomorrow.

That's wasteful. How can you be that filthy that your bedsheets need to be changed that often? You should at LEAST be getting a week out of bedsheets..

Would you wear the same clothes every day for a week? In warm weather?

    Of course :)

Same principle applies, you have them next to your skin in the same way as your clothes are, if anything you probably sweat more in bed. And other stuff.

I think I just got sick a little in my mouth

You're still "wearing" them for 8+ hours at a time.

The report doesn't say how many people change their sheets only every 3 months. It might be 1000, or it might be 30. all we know is that of that unknown number who change their sheets every 3 months, 71% are male.

so that might be 71% of 1000, or 71% of 30.

    The actual number is missing.

I'm not single and I wouldn't even consider changing my sheets any more often than once a month and possibly longer. I went from just after New Years to paddy weekend before on the one set and they were fine, I don't wipe my dirty shoes on the sheets ffs.

People are obsessed with changing sheets, washing clothes after wearing then for about 15 mins and washing the skin off themselves with so many showers.
