No joke, I once went home with a guy who had an uncovered duvet on the bare mattress.

Needless to say, I legged it.

    Uncovered duvet? Fancy

Now jaysus, I knew that the habits of single men were something that should be kept in their own four walls, but WTF?

I'm curious, was there even pillows ?

Survey would have hardly got the name E**oflewx plastered all over the internet if had not found anything particularly shocking or noteworthy, now would it?

Now I'm not saying that companies that run these pointless surveys deliberately fix the survey or results to get the company name plastered all over the internet and tabloid newspapers when it finds 'shocking' results... Oh... oh wait... hold on... that's exactly what I'm saying...

It also states that single women only change them every 2 and a half weeks and couple every fortnight. :(

    What is wrong with people?

I thought that was doing pretty well in fairness. I couldn't even tell you when I last changed my sheets because I don't remember

I don't know how you people sleep at night, literally.

Yes, and strangely enough, they had cases on them. Possibly the same ones that were on them when he moved out of home four years previously...

In that case he should have burned the mattress and duvet while he was at it.

And, actually, the entire apartment, now that I think of it.

Do you remember the episode of Friends where Ross was dating Rebecca Romijn-Stamos?

It was like that. Only he wasn't as hot.

Would you be willing to entertain the idea that the germ-friendly gentleman was merely dabbling in abstract art, apeing the success of Tracey Emim's "unmade bed".
And whereas you may have successfully avoided catching the bubonic plague, you also missed your chance to be a world famous muse.

    Surely you must have regrets;)

I did mine about once every three weeks when I was single. Even then they didn't smell when going in to the wash. I had only one set though, so I washed and dried them in the same day.

Does anyone here iron their bedsheets? :pac:

My ma actually irons hers, seems like a totally pointless activity to me.

I know plenty of lads like that. It usually all changes when they start seeing a girl though, they make an effort to change the sheets and whatnot. ;P

I don't understand it myself, it's pretty disgusting. Besides, there's no better feeling than hopping out of the shower and into a freshly made, crisp and clean bed. Ahhhh...
