Yes it does. Thats the point of the new broadcasting charge, so people can't get around not getting a TV license by not having a physical TV but watching RTE on iPads and things.

i hope it will bring down the cost of the licence

Not while Clouseau is on the case.

    "All those memories lost..."

    Did someone wipe her memory?

If it was so precious why did she bring her fathers antique camera equipment with her?

Joe Duffy would be right in there:

Joe Duffy: "so he has thousands of euros worth of antique photography and recording equipment"
    Caller: "Yeah Joe, :-( "
Joe Duffy: " And does YOUR FATHER have a recording of Jim Larkin's voice"..

Current caller sounds like Ringo Starr narrating Thomas the Tank Engine

Drawn-out explanation of why he doesn't have a telly.
In my case, it was just being fed up with all the shyte on all the channels all the time.

I may head on and try to get the exhaust sorted, it sounds like a boy racer car at the moment.... :-(

Should I dress up in the appropriate clothing to match the car

Current trend: People with no TV have too much time on their hands and are getting annoyed with a throw away comment by Pat Rabbitte.

    He does though, doesn't he?

I can just here him launch into "it was Summer on Sodor, that morning Percy was working the branch line...."

"So many payments can be made online now".

At least his TV Licence isn't one of them.

What pissed me off about Rabbitte's remark was the subtext to it, that if you don't have a tv licence you must be a dodger. Not the first time he's said that.

I could get internet on my mobile over 10 years ago. Not being able to work the internet on your phone is not the same as not having it on it.
