The character was called B. A. Baracus, goes to show just how right you are.

One person for me who has done a complete turn around in terms of character and really shaken off his previous role (whom without his current role he'd be completely consumed by) is Bryan Cranston. Before breaking bad he was Hal but now its hard to imagine him as that character without actually watching malcolm in the middle, and even then its uncomfortable.

Havent read thru the thread fully so alologies if its already said.
Aiden gillen as tommy carcetti in the wire was brilliant. I didnt even know he was irish till a year after i watched the wire. Everytime i saw him as john boy i imagined him as a yank trying to put on an irish accent. Thats more of a testament of how good i thought he was as tommy carcetti tho.

Bryan Cranston to me will always be Hal from Malcolm in the Middle to me instead of walter white from breaking bad

I can't help but always call Bryan Cranston Hal as well.

Nah I'm fairly sure he's managed to escape being Hal for eternity at this stage. You'd have to worry for Aaron Paul's non 'yeah bitch' characters in the future though.

Forgot about John C McGinley as Dr Cox in scrubs.

Scott Bakula will always be Dr Sam Beckett to me.

Same goes for the cast of any Star Trek series with the exception of Enterprise of course, 'cause Sam Beckett was the captain on Enterprise

Kate Mulgrew may have broken the Star Trek curse somewhat with her role in Orange Is The New Black.

Of course she was in Voyager so that doesn't really count :)
