No offense, but thats a great post to sum up whats wrong with this country.. someone thinks they need to win EUR100m+ to afford to run a car thats costs 33% less than a GTI Golf (from $24k OTR). A statement that would be apt coming from a slum in a 3rd word country. You could (easily) afford that Mustang on a modest EUR30k salary but you wont cos your relatives/co-workers/elected officials will beat you down on the motor tax issue.

If you had EUR100m, your "run around" could be a Maserati GT and your commuter a Gulf Stream V.

Think my euromillions daily driver car would be an f10 m550d, or alternatively an x5 m50d (which actually are in RHD)

But lads, did you know that it's a 535d? and not just a regular peasant wagon 530d? :pac:

    heart you maaaaax :o

Hahaha hilarious. Would be interesting. Especially (a) to see a 535 being beaten in a straight line by a 300hp peugeot. Thats the definition of a Q car. and (b) to see the torque steer of said peugeot!

Yes, I am one of these mad scones that prefers how diesel cars drive. Especially Bi- or Tri-Turbo ones.

And also I like the tractory sound on startup. Something my 535 is missing sadly.

    No sense in some people.

    Euro millions daily?

Think people are mixing it up with euro millions daily and weekend car.
Daily I'd have a sleeper for sure, so in fairness to Max's logic I like the thought of a massive diesel.

Although the likes of an rs4/6 s8 would also crop up.

For some mental reason I love the new camero, and would also consider that.

As for the weekend, well lets face it you'd need to go all bat**** mental.

    Good weather ariel atom.

Bad weather lambo (4wd and a roof bases covered)

You've won the euro millions you may as well!!
Now to actually play the euro millions idiot tax!

The Topaz on kylemore road/naas road intersection is consistently the most expensive. I think it is because of the number of car dealers in the area perhaps.

I only ever fill up in those stations when the range is showing as 0, and then I only buy a fiver to get to the next filling station!

Applegreen Inchicore is usually a lot cheaper

Oh Meath coco. Never failing to provide us with laughs......

So I wake up to the sound of people standing around talking sh*te and doing f*ck all. But what were they doing?

After I fell out of bed and wandered out, this is now outside my haus:
    Image895.jpg

Big enough road, plenty of room with enough space for tractors to pass by comfortably. Granted a bit bumpy in places but what road in Meath isn't....?

Behind me is a much smaller, twistier and more inhabited road. Grass in the middle of the road effort. What's the speed limit for it I wonder?
    Image896.jpg

Look, it's on the wrong side, even a bench provided to watch the carnage unfold..... Logic fail!!!

As a bonus this used to be on the sign below that 80km sign :pac:

Just discovered, using an old picture and my mileage on the car now, that I've clocked up 5000 miles in the last 3 months!

This is unacceptable and well below my quota!
