    Some timing:

2nd cut has thickened up nicely and is ready to knock. MTC predicting good weather next week so will spray this week with a view to reseeding after harvesting next week

Cut my first cut 4 weeks late 25th June, put out 2000galls slurry per acre + 125kgs of sul can. It suffered badly in the dry hot weather, just about enough rain now to make it grow, looks like another 2 weeks till it will be a worthwhile crop

Where have all the real men gone. There should be none of that talk before 7 or 8. That is a bit like holsteins 2-3 lactations and they are gone. I taught that the jersey cross lasted longer delaval.

I'd say we need to temporarily suspend the name on this thread and change it to "Well Stan?". It's a real bugger when they start hanging on like this. Mrs Freedom had to be induced on 1 & 2. If that happens to ye make sure Mrs Stan gets the epidural, induced labour is a different ball game entirely from natural.
