    How many peoples pits / stack of bales looks a lot smaller than last year?

    Pit is smaller but much drier

    gathered up another 40 bales,second cut in about 3 weeks probably 25 in that.first time just cutting strong paddocks.Better quality in bales and better grass for grazing.Should have enough.

    Ye've been a busy bunch while I've been away :). Mornings starting to get dark. Will be out for a walk in an hour to appraise the situation. Looks like I was away for the good silage weather!

    Seeing as it was still dark went back to bed and we're all only rising now. We reckon it's the first time we've had such a sleep in since first lad was born nearly 6 years ago!

    I was out last night in Dublin got home at 2. Young lads farmed out for the night, missus only rising now first sleep in in 8 years she recons:):)
