Hi all, I've signed up to Qsat, great for the first 14 mths or so. Now I'm constantly going almost over the limit - even though our very first few months we used WAY more as we were so new-fangled with it! Which is why I can't see how we've used it up now. We're on the 6gig d/load and 2gig up I think, the initial package they had. I can't afford a higher one. Also I can't see why if you haven't used all in a particular month why you can't carry it over - it's not food!! Does anyone know the answer to that one?

    Cheers

Hi all - I forgot to add we are in a 'black hole" where we live, so satellite is the only option. Tried 3G, didn't work at all, and had SUCH hassle trying to get rid of them within the 14 day period; they actually hassled me by phoning me in work, sometimes up to three times a day. I was within my rights within the 14 day cooling-off period, but any time I tried to phone THEM you just had to have nothing else to do for over an hour - it took SOO long to actually get through to a real live human being, and then of course neither of us could understand the other as (and I've asked) you are talking to a call-centre in India. AND they ALWAYS spend ages reading out the terms and conditions to you that you are just almost in a trance at the end, and that's BEFORE you start with your query ..... I could go on....and on... Eventually I cancelled the Direct Debit with my bank (that's when the hassly phone calls started when I was in work.

Finally, I don't want b/band for movies/PSP/games etc, I just want to be able to send/receive emails which may have photos from family in, and look up a few things - just basic stuff. Got that off my chest!

    Cheers

Check if any applications are downloading automatic updates, and/or malware downloading stuff without your knowledge.

Hi the syco, Yes I found out about that about a year ago, from the guys in the Apple shop, which means I'm still using less now than in our first few months.

Qsat keep saying I'm just using it heavily at times, but it's just not possible I can be using so much now compared to when we got it first - back then we were looking up tons of stuff, emailing photos (back then I didn't even know you could lower the res either, which means they were bigger to send then too) and the auto updates were on.

    I still think it's tweaked...
