    In my mind, you did.

And it was one of those roadhouse bars on a highway and you went to a titty bar afterwards.

I'd love to go to a Roadhouse bar.

There's 3 most proud moments for me. Getting married, completing a marathon and climbing Ireland's highest mountain Carrentouhill. All done in the last 4 years before I get too old:).

Not exactly what the thread is looking for, but I remember when I was in university, I watched a program on channel 4 about codes and code breaking. They described one code a few hundred years ago which was unbroken for centuries before finally being cracked, once the weakness of the key was finally discovered.

I made a comment about the key, and that if the key was lengthened to a certain extent, the code would be virtually unbreakable. Everybody else momentarily stopped their consumption of Dutch Gold and crisps and just looked at me like I was the biggest nerd in the world.

Fast forward about 7 years, and wikipedia allowed me to search for and finally find the code I'd seen on tv. And there it was - the exact same conclusion I'd come to, right there on wikipedia as the same conclusion code-breaking experts had also reached.

I didn't keep in contact with any of the people in the house that night, so there was nobody for me to remind about the story, but I had a smug smile to myself that day.

It's personal, for me it's my proudest day and it put my life into perspective.

Is it wrong to admit that graduating wasn't a significant achievement. For me it wasn't a challenge. That sounds rather arrogant I know but true.

The day I realised I can kick my dads ass.

To be honest I think it was his too.

Ever since we got into a bit of a fight one evening our whole dynamic changed. He treats more like a grown man than his son and we get on a sh!t load better.

I know its disrespectful to get into a digging match with a parent but I think I'm more proud of how we get on as a result and that he feels like his son became a man that day in his eyes. (I was in my late teens when it happened).

Are you Biffa Bacon from Viz ?

No, neither of my graduations mean much to me at all. Small steps along the road really. I just view them as invititations to certain job interviews.

My dad told me recently that I completed a thousand piece jigsaw when i was about 8 and he was very proud of me.

It's all been pretty much downhill from there. To be honest, I don't remember ever doing a jigsaw and think it was most likely my older sister and not me.
So yeah, my proudest moment may not even belong to me.

I did kick cigarettes cold turkey a few months ago so i guess that's something!

I sang a solo in a school concert once. I wasn't a great singer, but I was still picked (possibly by accident). My folks came to hear me sing, I asked them a million times on the way home if I was really good.

It was from 'Jesus Christ Superstar' if anyone's interested.

watching my daughter achieve things, whether it was starring in her first school play (lump in throat all the way through) to seeing her produce amazing works of art and wondering how she ever got to be so talented. I could probably gush for an hour so I'll stop there and spare everyone.

    My proudest moment is ongoing.

I have never had a puff of a cigarette in my life and hopefully my sensible choice will influence my daughter.

Outstanding. We should all be proud of things we've never done.

The condom broke when I was having sex with the gf, never happened before, I was young and I kinda panicked. She said not to worry and she'd get the morning after pill next day, so I rolled over and said "in for a penny, in for a pound" and proceeded to have sex another 2/3 times
