So, my Namco Volume Controller arrived this morning, and lovely, solid thing it is too.
Also received notification of the shipping of both my MD rgb cable and Luigi U is also on the way!
This should be a good week!

Got house of the dead 2&3 yesterday for wii - €5.99.
Just ordered deathsmiles on Zavvi for €12.49 I think it was.
And another wii title Madworld for €5.59 on hdwow.

My wii collection is growing and I havent even plugged it in yet!

Off the point slightly but I think its incredible how expensive some of the wii games are. They have really held their value compared to 360 stuff for example.

Mario games in particular I was lookin at in Gamestop yesterday were rediculous prices.

One thing to note about Madworld is that it's got a dreadful PAL conversion, pretty pathetic in this day and age that it's still happening. So bordering with slowdown.

Doh. Ah well another one for the collection and for a fiver I suppose I cant complain.

My plan is to get only exclusives for the wii if I can.

Theres loads of good stuff outside of the mario end of things as well.

Couple of kirby games look really interesting for example.

Just back from xtravision in blanchardstown centre.

They're doing some good deals there on preowned games.

I got some wii games and spyro for the Playstation 2.

Will post some game pics when I get a chance.

Blokes in PS2 to Jamma Office:

Bloke 1 :"There's an email there about one of our products, a jamma adapter is faulty the user thinks..."
Bloke 2: "Is it the PS2 to Jamma adapter?"
Bloke 1: "Yeah, will I ask the user for a description of the fault, it might be something he's doing wrong?"
Bloke 2: "No, if its the PS2 one its faulty."

It's probably Fifa's 02 to 06, a copy of F1'98 and an Army Men game.....

    It's soooo boooteeefulllll!!!!

I am truly gobsmacked, it's a lovely lovely thing.

Thanks to some thick-handed numpty in customs there is slight damage to the finish at the front, but otherwise it's gorgeous.

    I is very, very happy

Not sure it was worth the roughly €110 it wound up costing though, with nearly €50 of that shipping and VAT!

Ah hopefully not....him and his brothers were usually people who bought tons of games. Can't wait to see what's there now!

You got stung for VAT? How did they calculate it if it's a second hand item?

The last time that happened to me it was a classic airsoft gun, they sent me a letter asking for the value (I sent them on a scan of the ebay auction)

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Computer Games Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 34,763 CMod ✭✭✭✭CiDeRmAn

They calculated it based on my Paypal receipt, the one I emailed them :(
I figured, as much as I love Namco and Pacman, I ain't going to get sent down for fraud for either of them.
    I'm too pretty for prison!
    And there's only one EnterNow!

The pics don't do it justice, in the flesh it really feels like a thing of quality.
Have a good few bits and bobs since folk were over last, looking forward to opinions on Sega Rally/Panzer Dragoon/Nights PS2 stylie as well.

Had 2 packages waiting for me when I arrived home. A famicom and DS game of Japanese variety. Pics later

So I got Doki doki majo shinpan on the DS. You have to eh...inspect girls to find out if they're a witch or not. And also got the Money Game 2 on the famicom. AFAIK you have to play the stock markets in order to impress girls. I think the first one is better but this was dirt cheap.

    Bring them on Friday!
Doki doki will go well with Galgun!
Plus the cops can arrest both you and Retr0 at once, saving valuable police time!

RGB? Can this be? Ciderman giving into to the hordes of folks saying to move to RGB?

    I just got a dispatch notification of Luigi U now. Why did you use Parcel Motel for it Cidey, it's free shipping with Amazon for this game {over £25 qualifies for super-saving shipping}

She Who Must Be Obeyed would have wound my intestines around a stick in front of me if it was delivered to the door!
Maybe they are filling UK orders first, and that's why mine was shipped so soon?

Kinda pointless really, at his advanced age cataracts can't be far away now rendering the lovely RGB into a RF'ish mess :)
