And before someone says something about me using the camera whilst driving, the light had just turned green. Taken here on Sunday evening.

Partial resto on an original Irish plate is worth more IMO that an imported job ;)

It's only partial because of the time limitations for the job. It'll be fully restored.

And in this case, you'll have a hard time to find one to import, too. Parts have been an absolute nightmare, so I'm told.

The LT's are mine. The Celica unfortunatly is not. I wouldn't mind having one, though. Not much for japanese, but I love the older stuff.

I'm lucky enough, just to have to stumble outside the door most days and find interesting classics parked around the place :D

Do more, is that first pic of a traktor (misspelled ,no doubt) the limited speed yokes. I seen them on wheeler dealers n thought they were a class idea.

No, that's one that got away, nearly all those Volvo pickups here have been converted to epa traktors but that one has still the original running gear. Pity that they are nearly all converted but at least it has saved them from the crusher!

Interesting - epa ? traktor (Swedish spelling ? ) as in Tractor / Artic or Farm tractor or Traktor tax class

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

^^ @ Capri - i'm sure that W108 has been knocking around for a good few years on UK plates.

Gorgeous looking Jag, and in fine fettle too by the looks of it

W108 around a lot alright, maybe regular commuter from Holyhead

EPA traktor - sort of speed limited, swb 'tax bender' beloved of the Swedish mindset that they must pay tax of course ( but as little as possible :D )

I'm just back from holidays in Italy and it's amazing to see the amount of Vespas (and other scooters) in use there!

Nah. The issue is to get up to 88 mph first.

This thread owes me an iPhone 4s! I dropped it out the window of the car while trying to take a pic of a beautiful red Merc Pagoda parked outside the old Tap pub on the N11

Never actually saw that many in Rome for some reason ( more original 500's than Vespas ) but there's a serious operation in SaiGon, Vietnam restoring old Vespas on 417/1A An Dương Vương ,P3,Q5

I saw lots of scooter around the Lake Garda area, and in Verona. The consistently good weather helps increase scooter-usage there too I suppose.

    I also saw lots of scooter-powered (and scooter-registered!) 3-wheeler pick-ups (Piaggio, etc)

Still a lot of them in Vietnam too - called ' Lambro's ' , very popular in local markets
