Well I'd like to vote for a party of principal with politicians who would not betray the people that backed them all their lives. I guess that eliminates the Labour Party.

And every other party for that matter....

I've voted Labour and the Green Party in the past, trusting they'd follow through on election promises I agreed with. That learned me.

You thought they would form a majority govt?? They were always going to be minority coalition partners and as such believing in their promises is naive on your part

Vote in a left wing party (Fianna Fail, Labour, Sinn Fein etc) They go on a money for all bonanza, a golden social welfare system and everybody is happy until the **** hits the fan and they have reign it in an get elected out.

Then a supposedly centre right party (Fine Gael) picks up the pieces by making cuts and are portrayed as demons by the predominantly left wing media.

The next election kicks off and the left wing parties offer the world again.

    Welcome to the cycle.

Sinn Féin is the political party that is leading in the poll.

I know a few posters here who would be seething at the mouths at such a result.

What about setting out to kill Policemen in Northern Ireland?

    PSNI and Gardaí no.

But the RUC and the B Specials were sectarian organizations that colluded with loyalist paramilitaries who intentionally set out to kill innocent people and brutally beat peaceful protestors and marchers off the streets just because of what religion they were.

I see little benefit in bumping this. I think we've all had the option to vote.

In future OP I think it might be best to direct your queries at the politics forum.
