Thank you for your help. :)

What about the sauce? Too much full fat cream? And shud i steer clear of the nan bread?

Tandoori is yoghurt based, hence why i recommend it. cos we know you like yoghurt
but yes, if you are watching your weight avoid full fat cream sauces. If you are not then go for it.

And, incase you still haven't noticed, its possible that you are intolerant to gluten. So yes, avoid bread.

    Rice is gluten free.

So a full portion of chicken tikka masalla with pilau rice and a side of some sort of veg is okay?

Ill see how i feel after with no nan bread this time. Have to stick to jd and tonic water or something like that to cut out the diet coke/coke too!

Ok, I really think you should just stop bothering with this thread, stop worrying about all of it until you've seen a doctor. While it quite possibly is your diet causing (or at least contributing to) your tiredness it could be a medical condition, it could be a deficiency of B12 etc, but until you have the seen the doctor you won't know whether it is just diet or not. And until that time you're not going to truly believe anything people are saying here. At least if a doctor says "Nope, you're totally healthy, just eating badly" or "Yes it's caused by XYZ" then you know, right now you are hoping for a magic cure, you seriously think one salad is going to have you bounding around the office with energy? I eat quite well and it still takes at least a few days (often longer) to notice any change caused by a change in my diet.

Until you've spoken to a doctor and either found a reason or found that it is your diet you, us and this whole thread are just going in circles.

Id have to totally disagree with you. Ive learnt a lot. Especially the last but about indian food. If you dont want to take part in the thread, dont.

I can see what you're saying about the doctor and yes you're totally right but arent people allowed to talk about things including their diet??

I dont want constant attention or advice, just a bit of chat about it.

OP there are too many of your posts that I would like to respond to but its looking like a its waste of everyone's time responding to you. You don't want to waste your doctor's time but how many days have you been here getting people answering you and you still don't seem to understand. You said you had made a doctor's appointment, when is that happening? (1) There really is no point is saying anything else until you attend that appointment. (2) Your diet is really bad, (please leave Uncle Ben on the shelf, he is not your friend). (3) I'm also getting the message that maybe you are not overly keen on salad and perhaps that might be the reason why it is difficult for you to buy it or make it for yourself. And very importantly (4) DO NOT WITHDRAW FROM GLUTEN YET (apologies for shouting, its important) as if you have to go for a gluten intolerance test, your doctor will tell you to continue with gluten until after the test. The test will not give a correct diagnosis if you withdraw from gluten beforehand. Messing with the diet like this will not give the correct result. (5) Go to the doctor asap, pretty please! (Half of me wants to ask if you are trolling but sadly you could actually be ill and that stops me!)

You've learned a lot? That's good, because you didn't seem to be taking any of it on board. I just thought your post an hour after eating a salad saying it didn't make you feel any better just seemed like you are looking for a quick fix, and all of this advice is meaningless if there is a legit medical reason for why you're tired.

chicken tikka masala is horrendously calorific! too much cream. just read the menu and avoid creamy dishes.

13 pages of advice given, sorry for having an interest in the OP's wellbeing, seeing as he asked for help. How awful of me.

I didn't read the whole thread but I know people did mention getting checked for low thyroid on the first page, and I hope you do.

What you described sounded exactly that to me.

Absolutely. Not all of life's ills are caused by eating food that comes in a packet. The answer here is to see a doc, get a blood test etc. If you're a medically healthy person who feels like this then absolutely point the finger at the lifestyle.

Just laughing at the people suggesting switching to a healthy lifestyle and feeding it to the kids as if it's that easy. Hate to break it to you but kids know what tastes like crap and vegetables generally taste like crap. We use stews and casseroles as vegetable cloaking systems for our kiddies meals but unfortunately you can't shield your kids from the wonders of chips and they know bloody well a fucking parsnip fry is not a chip so please don't anyone chime in with that particular chestnut.

Also if you're feeding the kids toast or whatever lese the little bastards will actually eat it's bloody hard to not mop up the leftovers.

If you've young kids you're pretty much guaranteed to feel tired a lot of the time but see a doc. Don't bother with the dietician, is that serious advice? "Eat more veg", gee thanks professor.

I'm sorry to quote an old post but that's just nonsense.

Ashwaganda twice a day helped me tremendously with this.

I'm sorry to quote a new post but that's just nonsense.... whens the last time you've craved a carrot? seriously. I love carrots but I'll sit eating a roast beef like a mars bars every night of the week but 3 or 4 carrots is enough in 1 sitting

    Hello everyone,

Im back again. I decided to close my account over a problem with ppl tyring to reset my password.

Anyways had blood test for diabetes and various food intolerances, thyroid, kidney and liver function etc and nothing came up so i just thought maybe i need more exercise and to eat a bit better.

Until last week when i collapsed a couple of times for no reason.

Went to health centre and they sent me to a&e with low blood pressure.

Turned out my blood pressure is too low.

They dont have a reason for it. Dont know why it dipped so low for me to collapse.

Just said that after eating blood pressure drops anyway, especially after big meals and can therefore make u feel tired. As mine is low already it makes me feel even more tired than normal.

I was sure it was somehting to do with sugar!

So anyone have the same thing? Ive been told to eat more salt and such.

Glad i got some sort of answer other than sort your diet out.

Isn't them telling you to eat more 'salt and such' the same thing as 'change your diet'?

No . . . its a reactive measure to try and raise blood pressure and probably isnt the best way to get it back up again but if it dips taking some salt in may help.

Its nothing to do with dietry amounts

aaaand we are back to flogging this dead horse again.

op the advice will remain unchanged. sort your diet out, exercise more.

the advice is like this for several reasons
    1. we are not doctors and have not examined your case so we can only offer this advice
    2. this is not the place to ask for or receive medical advice. go to your doctor they will tell you what to do
    3. if a qualified medical doctor who has examined your case and told you what to do and you have ignored their advice what makes you think strangers on the internet will care
    4. we are not allowed to offer medical advice according to the rules of the website

having said that i can offer one bit of advice: sort your diet out
