Do women consider priests to be sexy in any way or have the odd fantasy about them?Maybe not so much now but in the past everyone has probably heard of a local priest carrying on with a woman,there was one around here who allegedly had a different woman every night.Just curious,maybe being unobtainable makes them sexy in some way.

Good question. My mum is close friends with the local parish housekeeper, i never really asked about her, but from listening to the conversations between them through the years i wonder whats really going on between them(housekeeper & priest, lol). Stuff like ''ah sure the Peader he's very bold!! very bold!!''.

Housekeepers tended to be 50+ with faces like stung bees. Nothing was really going on there.

I wouldnt be so sure. I think a lot of these women were either physically or emotionally attracted to the aura of the priest.

There was a young priest in a hospital I used to work in. He was unreal looking. Oh God he was class. I'd definitely more interested in mass with him at the alter.

Then there is a priest near enough us. He's in his 50's like but still very handsome. And he has a real gamey eye too. Yum.

I imagine women find priests generally unsexy for the same reason that men (well, many men) find nuns sexy.

The garb creates ideas of chastity, piousness and self control. For men, a cold chaste virgin is a challenge, to release the inner whore inside. For women, a cold chaste virgin lacks passion and fire and so conjures images of a boring and cold encounter (which is probably closer to the reality for the nuns too!)

Very stereotypical ideas for sure, but I imagine that's the thinking behind it.

Though as I get older, I've definitely swung to Billy Connolly's thinking;

"70 virgins?! WTF would I do with 70 virgins?! Give me two fire-breathing WHORES any day of the week!"
