Poll, Do you prefer the new Boards.ie homepage?

No. I used to click on the arrow to go to the last post I'd read in a thread. Now there is no arrow.

Its woeful.
Iits like been given a bag of sweets with 40 in the pack everyday then one day some developer guy with no design sense replaces it with a bag of sweets with only 12 in it.

Doesn't show nearly enough recent posts. Boards moves very fast and if you have to go to page 3-5 to find a new thread you may be interested in you may just never see it.

I like the layout, and I assume if you click the link it brings you to your last unread post. Just show all pages on 1 and I'll be happy.

I don't automatically despise things because they're new and was confident that I'd get used to it in no time but with no "go to last read post" arrow and a lot less topics on the list, I'm disappointed. It's a downgrade, IMO.

I rarely if ever use the home page, so it makes no odds to me really. The only thing that stands out to me, is you can't seem to filter by Virgins any more

It's awful for usability, there's something very wrong if the touch version of boards offers more content than the desktop version. 15 threads instead of 12 and it's very easy to scan through.

They should bring back the table of 40 threads. 12 isn't anywhere near enough for a site of this size. Way too much padding and empty space.

Maybe where it says "Latest post by" they could add the link to that latest post? No need to add more stuff, just change it a bit. :pac:

What is the purpose of having the number of thanks a thread has listed on the homepage? It really is superfluous. The old version at least had the viewcount for a thread beside it. Anyway I suppose I'll learn to live with it, but at the mo I prefer the old one

The view count for a thread isn't accurate.
