You need a Donedeal only phone! An old phone, with a PAYG sim card.
That way, you prevent your normal phone, being bombarded by every second half wit in the country:o

Could have been worse, did you hear the awful lawnmower stories on the News at 1? Digit amputations of various severity. Nearly got sick listening to the doctor.

I have advertised over the phone counselling sessions on donedeal . . . . well it seems that way. I hate the way that these guys think that I have nothing else to do but listen to their tales of agricultural woe just because I'm trying to sell something. One guy talked for 40 minutes last night. Most of it was about the weather and about how shallow the soil is on meath land. I think that he was surprised when I told him that we have a max soil depth of 3 inches around here. In the end I got thick with him and said if you want it, come and look at it and I just hung up! Doubt I'll ever meet him - maybe that's a good thing!

was servicing my 1987 IH earlier hoping to prolong it's existance a little longer, when a rep drives in with a 132 mondeo with only 100kms on the clock

somethings in this world are very unevenly divided

Sure are, you have money in your back pocket, rep/company owes money to the finance company. Know which position I would prefer to be in. Anyway I would like to see a rep call in a spec new car, I wouldnt be rushing out with the cheque book

You are probably paying an extra twenty euros a tonne for nuts from a rep like that .
Do you know how to manually knock off the 4 wd on a 956 that has an electric switch by any chance ?

I think Donedeal has it's best of it's days behind it.

The only one making money off it is them. €3 a pop and the next day your ad is nowhere to be seen (well I exaggerate, maybe you'I see it on page 3 or 4) Pay another €3 then to bump it up. Then as you say Reilig if you are lucky enough to get anyone to see ad, you'I get plonkers ringing (and ringing at all hours) or going for a drive and a nose of a Sunday! You can't win!!

Bring back the buy and sell! :pac:

Buy and sell really dropped the ball when it came to the internet, while done-deal caught the wave and cruised on. (how is that for mixed metaphors!) With certain items, especially cars, especially any ad. with the words "Honda Civic" or Opel Corsa it it, every twit in the country will be texting stupid offers and swops. Like the OP said, use a spare phone and buy a sim card and €5 credit and use that for your ad. I have got rid of a load of rubbishy stuff from around the house lately, no way would you get a buyer any other way.

had to bring the dog to the vet today, she had lost all power in her hind legs. Thought it might be poisoning but after a few hours the vet concluded it was epilepsy, did anyone ever have it in their dogs or how did it work out. The vet is getting in medicine but at the price of it i,m just not sure how attached iam to this dog. vet reckons it will need it for the rest of her life. any help?

are you sure the electrical switch puts the tractor into 4wd ?
On a lot of tractors, the switch is energising the selanoid and this uses low pressure oil to keep the ttractor Out of four wheel drive. If you lose oil pressure, or el. Power, the tractor reverts to 4 wd.

Thats how it should be working anyhow but whats happening is that when you are flat out on the road the 4wd is off but when you slow down to turn in it kicks in all of a shot which isn't good . Any idea why this would be happening ?
