    If string theory is plausible and there are an indeed an infinite number of universes, each containing every possible permutation of space & time, then there exists a universe where no alternative universes exist.

    Just because there are infinite universes doesn't mean everything you can imagine exists within them.

    For example:
    Universe 1 has X atoms in it.
    Universe 2 has X+1 atoms in it.
    Universe 3 have X+2 atoms in it.
    and so on, the universe functions along the same lines just gets slightly bigger every time.

    There are many different types of infinity.
