Owen Hart...I remember watching Wrestlemania when that happened. They came back from ads and everyone was bawlin!

That pay-per-view was called Over The Edge and was held on May 1999. Wrestlemania was two months prior in March. I remember falling asleep and missed the incident, but I woke up half-way through the main event - a title match between Stone Cold and The Undertaker - and I didn't hear the commentator mention anything about his death. Went into primary school the next day and my classmates told me about it.

So, I went home and searched for news either on Sky Digital or on the Internet, I remember reading about the incident and think how aptly named the pay-per-view was considering how he died.

That was the second "Over The Edge" pay-per-view WWF held, they retired the name of the pay-per-view for the next May pay-per-view in 2000.

Even though I had lost interest in wrestling at the time, the Chris Benoit thing threw me for a right loop.

I remember when I heard of Brittany Murphy's death. I was absolutely shocked to say the least.
