FG first, Independent and then Other. Wouldn't vote for FF or Sinn Fein, two clueless bags of sh!te.

I see little difference between FG and FF. Two slightly different colours of shite imo.

Sinn Fein would be a good choice in theory... The problem is that theory has no realistic ideas and theory can't run a country!

Sinn Fein next time for me.

I voted FG into power the last time....(now based on a total pack of lies)

What have they done for me and this country of ours???

    SFA....

Sure we are back in a recession as of today.......but sure Enda and Gilmore dont give a flying fcuk.

I would vote for the party who vows to cut all politicians pay to 50,000 euro p.a. except for fianna fail who I will never vote for. I would also be suspicious of Labour who made so many promises which they failed to push for once in government. How serious could we take any of their future vows. Hopefully we see the emergence of a new party who are not related to or in the the old boys circle.

And the 2 muppets (Kenny and Gilmore) on the opposite side of the Dail do though???

We are now back in a recession as of today and there is no 100,000 jobs created either.

The bankers got their money and the bondholders got theirs too...............hip hip hooray

    Shinners get my vote.

They're the only big party that have never been given a chance to govern. How can they be any worse than FF/FG/Labour?

To those who are scared of Sinn Fein, I say:

Let them have a bit of power, see how they screw up, and then never vote for them.

    No, just no...............

I voted other in the Poll... why are the Greens not listed in the poll though?

I'll be voting Green again - environmental issues are still very important, and completely overlooked by the other parties which is a pity.

Sinn Fein gets my vote. I'd have voted Labour in the past, but I think they should have rose above coalition government - they'd have been a shoo-in for single-party or senior coalition partner in the next election.

Sinn Fein (and in particular Pearse Doherty) really annoy me. They talk about making massive, drastic changes, improving this, reversing cuts, improving everything, when the realism is that we can't do all that and expect to keep afloat.

It was the Governments before these ones who made the mess and I think Fine Gael are doing as well as anyone would in trying to sort it out.

Even before the last election, Sinn Fein did nothing but slate everyone else's ideas and opinions, without offering any realistic alternatives.

    We need a Libertarian Party.

I assume you have not read the reports and interviews from leading world economists that Sinn Féin had it right.

For example Sinn Féin's proposal for a 2.2 Billion euro stimulus package from the National Pension Reserve Fund that we have been advocating for the last few years. The establishment parties ridiculed us for that proposal now Fine Gael announced at the start of the month that they are going to do just that and were lauded commended for it. And that is just the tip of the iceberg.

The people who utterly dismiss and think Sinn Féin's economic policies are just fairytale economics are the ones who are actually economically illiterate.

For all the potential Sinn Fein voters, just remember that during the boom Sinn Fein wanted Jobseekers Allowance at €300.

Government should be like jury duty or national service. Everyone entered in a lottery and chosen at random, made to serve for three years with the option to re-up for one or two terms but no longer than that.

if this poll is a true refection of what the next government is going to be , we will prove internationally that we really are a bunch of dumb asses and cant govern nothing

seriously lads - have ANY of you actually read up on some of their financial policy's - pie in the sky economics

apparently 5% of the population is going to pay for the other 95% socialist utopia

the shinners have a LOT of questions to answer regarding the troubles , and you lot want them representing us internationally :confused::confused:

yea - right - funny - ye lot can never fully answer how you are going to fund your policy's - vague , if you looked up the word in the dictionary it would have a picture of mary lou with a confused look on her face

never have i heard how the financial plan is going to be funded with out the SF rep babbling nonsense and avoiding the question.

and yes i have read it , still none the wiser

SF for local politics you cant beat them , truly , locally they are great , and have always voted for them - but national government ??? not a chance

One that will seriously curtail non-productive immigration

One that will abolish the dole for people who are not actively seeking work

One that will abolish the Seanad

One that will appoint ministers based on credentials, not a random name out of a hat malarky like we do here

One that will make 3rd level a privellege and not a right

One that will reintroduce capital punishment

One that will abolish pavee point, women's council and immigrants council

One that will have a zero tolerance policy

All foreigners to be finger printed upon entry

Tough prison sentences (mandatory sentencing) NO discretion whatsoever for judges, so minimum or maximum sentences

MEIN FUHRER - YOU CAME BACK !!!

And FG/Lab were offering a turbocharged version of FF. More spending on the PbS and more tax breaks for the lads.

The poll should only be two options.

    fraggle rock.

    Other.

What we need is smaller government.

    1. Libertarians are not Anarchists (in the historical sense anyway).
    2. Almost every country has a Libertarian party or group of some sort.
    3. The WSM are socialists. Libertarians are capitalists.
