Bumper off after work, just as my quote rang back.
€175 for weld repair by weld specialist and full respray of entire bumper, plus small bit of trim. He knocked it down to that from €235 once he heard the bumper was off, happy days.

    Saw some nice cars on my rounds this morning, a 335i, all black E60 M5, an XJR, Lotus Elise, 2 or 3 S2000's, 2 F01 7 Series, a few new XJ's and a V8 A8.

Of all of those cars though, my favorite from today was a 159 in TI spec in black. It just looked amazing, I almost wet myself.

Era its grand, the lads I'm with are all good craic so it's always an enjoyable day. We start around 5 and finish up around 1/2 so there's always a good part of the day left even after 8/9 hours work and I'm always off Saturday and Sunday. No idea how long it'll last though, may well just last until the end of the week, I'm hoping for the whole summer though :P.

Right lads, I've to be in abbey street in Dublin at 9:15 tomorrow morning for the Army/Navy. Coming from cork. Anyone have any tips on places to park and what not to make it as stress free as possible please? If I'm leaving cork at 6 will that be enough time taking traffic into account?

Doubt 6 will be enough time tbh, from Naas to City Centre it takes me an hour at that time

As for parking there's a multi story across from the Jervis car park that's reasonable, you turn left at The Morrisson Hotel on the quays, cross the small junction and it's just on your left.

When I left at 6 the last 2times I got to Baldonnel for 8 on the dot. How far away would it take to get there from Baldonnel roughly? It says it's on in public appointments service
    Thanks for parking tip.

Public appointments service is less than a 1 minute walk from that car park I mentioned

You have to get through Newlands, Red Cow, Blackhorse and then negotiate the Quays or Kilmainham/James' Street, I'd leave at 5, from 7.30-9.30 the above places are a mess

That's the same place I went years ago for Garda interview and it's only up the street from Jervis.

5!? Bollocks anyway :( I thought an hour would do me from Baldonnel. Exam starts at half 9, I'll definitely be staying up in Dublin the night before from now on

If you'd have asked earlier that's what I would have suggested, you'd get a room for €45 on a weeknight

Don't be overtaking every single car on the motorway and you'll be fine with your petrol :P

TP's idea of parking at the Red Cow Park & Ride is a good one. The Luas will bring you straight in to the door.
