Spotless civic here lads, I'd bet you'd get it a lot cheaper than that. Look how fresh the paint work is

mk1 focus is a very nice car i think. i loved mine, the hatch is much more of a looker though.

Definitely - and they were a great step forward for Ford when they came out.

Saloons don't look as nice, but all you have to beat is a Carisma - its still grand :D.

Nice find that Civic. It might be 17.5 years old but chances are it will still be running when it's 35 years old :)

    My ads on adverts.ie:

Victron stuff for sale, Multiplus-II, Quattro, other inverters and batteries and usually some watches!

One of the best cars on the road maybe? Mine was bulletproof and took a lot of abuse :o

I can't get over how clean that one is. Must have been resprayed or maybe even t-cut?

I don't think it's as clean as it looks, If you look closely at the interior you will see that the area where the radio is suppose to be looks a bit damaged. The steering wheel was changed also, the one that's in it is from the 5door hatchback model. Still for 750, it's reliable motoring I suppose :)

    I wouldn't go that far ;)

One of the most reliable cars on the road for sure. Very basic motoring. Best of both worlds and eras. New enough that it doesn't suffer from major rust issues (terrible in most cars, especially Japanese cars from the 80s). New enough that it has electronic fuel injection. Old enough that it doesn't have anything electric or any bells or whistles that can go wrong :)

That combined with the legendary reliability of the basic small 1.4l petrol Honda engine...

Correct JohnBoy26, that steering wheel is not from that car. Raises a big question that.

I wouldn't be too worried, the saloon version isn't very sought after in those circles.:p

It is becoming more popular though. Especially at that price I could see some young lad (my age:pac:) taking it, throwing white alloys under it, fake SOHC stickers, tinting it out and not forgetting the stupid exhaust.

    B'awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwh!:pac:

Did the exhausts always stick out that far on those cars?

    This too shall pass.

Far as I remember the back box goes across the back of the car, could be just out of kilter a bit.

Bumper may be pushed in a bit too.

Sorry for the plug, but that's my pride and joy right there. Can't believe I've made it on to the Bangeronomics thread - must put up the price :p

To give a little more info for anyone that might be interested this has just been taxed for three months, NCT'd and just valeted (full interior shampoo) on Sunday.

And yes indeed its a bargain - will keep going for years to come. I bought this car from a Boards member (on adverts.ie) and this person knew the previous owner - so the car has a very solid history.

Will be sorry to see this car go - every time I get in to it I say to myself I can't believe I am trying to sell this. However the time has come for my daughter to learn to drive and as you can imagine insurance for her is coming in around 3K on this car so its time to say goodbye ...

GLWS comanche cor, nice car for very little money. It will make someone a happy camper no doubt about it :)

Small bit of tax, fair bit of test, leather and auto. Should be able to haggle it into bangernomics budget. Did camrys come with a 2.0?

Also if you are going to lie about the amount of tax a car has on an ad don't post a picture of the disc proving that you lied :P

Then it would run until 10-13 based on that it's taxed to 7-13 on the screen;)
