Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Creepy people in the cinema?

For me, I remember when I went to the cinema with my friend, a guy came in halfway through the film. I noticed how he walked weird, but didn't think anything of it. But then when he sat down, a few minutes later his phone rings and he starts talking on it, didn't even try to whisper or take it outside. Then a little while later, I looked out of the corner of my eye and he was sitting at an aisle at the other side of us, and I found him staring at us! It was so creepy, he wasn't even trying to hide it, he actually was leaning over to look at us, and when I turned my head to stare back at him, he quickly turned his head back at the screen.
Then a few minutes later he got up, and walked down to the front aisle seats, they were all empty so I thought maybe he was gonna sit there (I think people were throwing popcorn at him, because I noticed he kept looking back at a group of people few rows behind him, while he was on the phone, which I think was appropiate since people were trying to look at the film, not listen to him talk),
but then he started walking across in front of the seats, like pacing about three or four times, before going to the exit door that was near us, leaving while still staring at us. SO WEIRD!
So does anyone here have any cinema creep stories, if not creep stories, just plain ignorant ones instead, like people talking loudly in the middle of a film, for example.0

I went to the flicks with my bestie at the time.
It took me a few minutes to cop it but he was actually stroking the hair of a complete stranger who had sat down in front of us.
No idea if she felt it or not but I always saw him in a bit of a different light !
I also went on my own once. Walked in, middle of the day and one other person there. So I walked over, asked to get by, sat down right beside him and offered him some popcorn.
He was a bit taken aback........ then he moved seats 0 -

Because it was €8 along with my popcorn.Plus I'd probably get kicked out for a stunt like that for a film I paid €13 to see.
Wait,why does anyone go to the cinema?
Because even though the prices in there is expensive, you cannot beat the sound system in a cinema when you see a film or how it looks on the big screen.
Apparently, a lot of people say that in The Hobbit, the Stone Giants scene is meant to have been amazing on the cinema screen, and that it does not have the same effect when you see it on the TV screen. :cool:0 -

Word of advice man, you are better off not doing that in future. I'd say you were only being friendly, but to a lot of people it might come across as a bit odd.0 -
