Can;t understand this anti-Warburton talk.

    Everyone doing their best.

Ok, we won't discuss players not playing well so because they're "doing their best"

Warburton, if he starts, will be keeping two better players out of the side, hence the discussion about his form

Right now I hope Gatland is wacking whomever it was that suggested Maitland before Zebo over the head with the match programme.

I have to say it's a fair call that Vunipola does not push straight at the scrum, not once yet against the Tahs.

I would say it was himself. Maitland and Gatland from the same town, went to the same school.

Shame Bernard Foley played sevens, surely he has an Irish granny/grandad with that surname. ;)

Not a good start for Heaslip.

Yep getting outclassed today when it was really important to nail down the jersey. Faletau hasn't done himself much favours luckily enough

Is it just me or does Davies look defensively shakey? With Maitland outside him, the Tahs seem to make ground down their channel every time...

Are you watching the same game!! Warburton has had an excellent start to this game his work at the breakdown has been what you want from a 7 slowing the ball down at every opportunity and tackling well allowing the next man in to effect the turnover. Is also captaining them well as obviously got on right side of ref and allowing his senior players like POC to also have an influence

Eh? One bad error at the base there. What else has he done wrong? Has carried strongly into contact and been the main target in the line out.

True, but let's just focus on Warburton.

Just others performing a hell of a lot better. He's been the worst in the pack.
Maitland and Davies don't look test quality

What is the point of Warburton? Hes been anonymous again imo

Real shame Leinster didn't manage to get their hands on Mitchell...his name was strongly being linked for a while....damn Toulon and their money :/

Foley just throws pass after pass after pass.

    QB style.

POC & Mako were the only ones there.
    Where were the backrow?

    Poor turnover for the lions.

*jamie was there.... On replay in was very good Tah' play. *

    Great defence there from Croft

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,206 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Zebo's old problem of staying wide on his man twice in that attack.

Game is a good test and no injuries thus far.

Anybody else find it odd that Mitchell isn't in the wallabies squad? Are we talking politics or is Berrick Barnes that good?

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,249 ✭✭✭Stev_o

Phillips too slow, he s getting murdered on the fringes.

Heaslip has been very quiet, if that was Warburton people would be hyper critical, he hasnt been prominent in the loose which is his role today. Very poor clearout a minute ago as well.
