Barnes not giving Ferris the credit he deserves

    from BBC's Live Feed...
More big carries from the likes of North, Heaslip and Vunipola weaken the Force and O'Brien finally sends England lock Parling over on the inside ball - he's only five minutes into his Lions debut. Halfpenny misses the conversion!!! Aha, forgive me my little joke, of course he doesn't.

    :D

Who was it that asked about Norths passing, or lack thereof ? He had plenty of time to offload there.

    Yeah that was very poor.

We should be playing SOB at center! Some of his passing today has been wonderful

Yeah but while rugby was open to professionalism it was still part time in Ireland. When Leinster wanted to go fully professional Rolland retired from playing.

Varied wildly between -43 and -35 my own bets are -35 and +43 both evens

nice 1/2(penny I guess) same stake?

SOB has been everywhere, spinning passes left and right, popping inside and out and a few bullocking runs too

    Edit: damn you greenwood

And a nice kick in the first half too, makes you wonder what he'd have been like at 12.

You make it sound like Rolland didn't want to play pro. When the provinces were turning pro in the mid 90's he was 30 & almost at the end ofhhis career, he was released by Leinster & had only 1 more season in the game

I don't know how you can say you held your own in anything when you conceded 69 points!

Been a critic of Heaslip all season (and last) but that was a good performance, clinical and professional.

    Big game from SOB also.

Same stake. Thought it would finish in the sweet spot for a bit but no luck. Break even anyway :)

He said in an interview that he chose not to go pro because he would have had to give up his job for a what was only going to be a couple of seasons max.

I don't remember what the actual situation was at the time (too young)

Good performance to build from saturdays game.

Lots of players putting their hands up for selection, which is great to see.

Gatland and his team will have some tough decisions to make in the coming weeks.

Most of the Irish lads had good games. Thought Murray upped his pace in the second half and his passing was a lot more crisp. Best was quiet enough, didn't do himself to many favours today.

"Well, yeah, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"

Saying he kicked well doesn't justify it at all.

Eleven out of eleven, some of which were touchline kicks. Astounding.
