Finished in 12710 over all with 2200pts thanks for all the advice from boards members looking forward to the summer break.

Ranked 46,853rd with a score of 2,123. Pretty disappointed given I finished 4,903rd last season. Poor first half of the season destroyed me, was ranked 476,007th after gameweek 19. Wild carded then and was nearly all green arrows from there, but the damage was done.

Hope to get at least top 10k next season, need to move quicker when the bandwagons are rolling.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

549 in the world. Not in any money leagues and played my wildcard on the first Sunday of the first game week.

Fantasy Football, I'm doing it wrong.

14,973rd, previous best was 164,261st in 2006, since which I hadn't finished in top 500k, so pretty happy :D
Also won my money league by almost 150 points, so good season all round!

Ended 347 in the world which im slightly disappointed with, i was 150ish past few weeks, but unfortunately i had Dearg81(above) in my one and only money league and i tried to catch him by doing silly mistakes and it cost me a place in the top 100. it was first time i tried to catch anyone all season i just picked my team based on what i thought was the best and didnt look at anyone else so its a mistake i will hopefully learn from. It also cost me the boards league which i was 1st in a few weeks ago, ended up coming 4th, i thought going into the last weekend of the season i would of come at least second but not to be.

On the plus side i won the FSA Cup and went a good distance in the Cup so that was good and i smashed my pre season goal which was top 10k.

Cant wait for next season already, take a few weeks off then start looking at pre season and take it from there!

Finished with 2,183 points and 17,556 overall. My aim was top 10,000 but happy enough as won a few money leagues

1476 overall (although I see leagues are being updated again due to a correction). It's my best finish ever, but still kind of gutted - was only 5 points off the top 1000 going into the last GW but I blew it with a couple of poor decisions.

Didn't join the boards league in time so have no idea where I would have finished.

Finished just outside the 40k mark. Aim was to be inside the top 100k.

Have had a team for a good few years, but never really played properly. Previous highest finish was 380,000, and had never had more than 2000 points.

So pretty happy with my finish. Not sure how next year will go - I'm off travelling in September for 3 months, so team could be a bit of a mess by christmas!

If it's anything like I experienced for 2 months it won't go all that well fantasy-wise :pac: Somehow contained the damage to only 90,000 places with a strategic wildcard and trying to second guess what would happen for 8 GWs. It didn't work out so well

Had a great trip though so it wasn't a complete fail :D Where are you off to?

Yeah I'm lucky in that I'll have about the first 4 GWs, so will have some idea of who the good early season players are. I'll probably wildcard right before I go, so that I have my team well set up. Then, at least if my team is a complete mess I'll have the Jan wildcard to fix it up. And actually, if I can just get to a computer once every 2 GWs, I can do transfers in pairs.

I'm nearly worried about captain picks while I'm away. Could lose serious points there. If next season is like this one, I can see myself having RVP, and sticking the armband on him before I jump on the plane!

Edit: have a month in South America, 2 weeks in Fiji, and a month in New Zealand.

Firstly that trip sounds class, wish I was off again too, was in South East Asia myself. I found that I literally logged in once a week to see if anyone was injured. I said I'd be able to put in more than 10 minutes a week but by the time you get back after a busy day and sent off an email or whatever you just can't be arsed to do more than the bare minimum, especially as I was using my ipod and too cheap to get the app :pac:

I had RVP as captain, made sense at the time but that was the height of his poor form in Feb and March but it was the right thing to do. Pretty ideal in terms of wildcarding anyway as most would use an early wildcard anyway.

Target 1: Win work league. Accomplished that for the first time ever, after finishing a close runner-up the last two years.
Target 2: Break the 2200 point barrier. Finished on 2170. Some poor captaincy choices and hasty transfers (E.G. subbing out Tevez before Villa (H)) cost me here.

•Following a review of the referee’s misconduct report from the Chelsea v Everton match, Marouane Fellaini did not actually receive a yellow card. He has now been credited with an extra point and tables are being re-calculated once again.

Fellaini extra point pushed me up a bit.

2042pts which is excellent for me. First time i've really taken it serious as I discovered this board, FISO and a few others. It does help alot, plus when your doing well you tend to put in a bit more effort.

I won a league and 4th in another. Played 47 transfers, which might be too many. Does anybody know the average on that?

Delighted its over and can take a break.:D

Terrible season, worst in a long while. Finished with 2057, and ended up 116000 in the world.

Already planning for next season, cant be any worse than this one.

Well, my best rank was in week 3 when I made it to 621 position and from there, it slowly sank to a final 16,643 place.

A final value of £102.4m and 2186 points - I guess I'm happy enough. The last 5 years my highest score was 2131 points in 2009/2010 - so it's an improvement :)

Finished in 88,546th. Didn't quite maintain my top 3k position of the first 4-5 GWs.

A few weeks ago there was some talk on here about fairly big money to be won in private money leagues, it seems to me that this forum is a valuable resource, it keeps your mind on the game and we are usually able to stay a couple of weeks ahead as regards players likely to rake in the big points. Without this forum most of us wouldn't pay as much attention to upcoming fixtures and the likes, a few guys here put in a lot of work and are good enough to share with the rest of us. This was my first year and even though I only started after week 3 I really enjoyed it mainly due to my participation on here. I finished up around 400,000 in the world which sounds awful but when I started posting and reading here in gameweek 10 I was at 2.2m in the world.
Next year I will settle for nothing less than top 5k, very achievable with the help of you guys, cheers and talk again in August(unless you want to join the Lions thing, see other thread:pac:)
Enjoy the summer and the transfer rumours etc:)
