Followed this guide - step 17, to get my Aux in adapter error (amount others) to clear. The guide was a bit off for me. I swapped the yellow and grey wire, but they were in pins 1 and 2, not 1 and 7. Worked though.

Cleared out a CAN Gateway error too, it couldnt find the microphone I dont have. :D

It was broke anyway.... Sharp edges, chipped etc. Needed a good send off!

I'm ahead of you there, why do you think it looks so shiny.... ;)

Ahhh you have one in the collection?

My dad used to have one back in the day. Unfortunately it dissolved back into from whence it came :(

It's identity lived on on a different car that wound up living just down the road from us

Not mine, my dads. Bought in 1985, garaged in 1990 and there ever since.... It's a running joke here with me asking at the start of every year "is this the year it will be restored" :pac:

We actually have 3, all his :)

If you look at some of my above pics, you can see the badge from one of them ;)

I hope they're all 1.5's. At least one is I can deduce from the "5 speed" badge :D

Just ordered the Eibach Pro-Kit for my car.

Can't believe how much cheaper they are on www.ebay.de

Tried everywhere in the UK and Ireland and I saved at least €60.

    Got them from this shop.

Bought yesterday and DHL tracking number sent today. German efficiency. :)

Other shops on ebay.de were even cheaper but not sure if they ship to Eire. Worth asking though.

Only problem I have with eBay.Dr is I can't read german.

    Google chrome will translate some.

Most of the sellers have good English, so drop them a message with car details.

^Same seller I bought mine from.

Only thing I will say is I was waiting almost 3 weeks for mine to be dispatched. He was sold out although never mentioned it in the listing. I put so much pressure on him that they were sent directly from Eibach :D

That's common enough with Eibach springs, can be waiting weeks for new stock. Most sellers don't mention this in the listings either.

That German shop was the only place that had my springs in stock (I asked before I placed the order). Other shops said they wouldn't have stock until the end of June. Tried about 20 different places in Ireland and the UK. All waiting on Eibach to make them in the factory.

why yous stick with eibach springs ? there is number other makes , which does springs for cars. when i had skyline, it got TEIN springs, and was absolutely perfect, that name is more popular between jap tuners, using those springs for drift and drag, and have good reviews. I looked in ebay tein string for BMW cars, and they do them for BMW. .

Delivery from micksgarage was very quick, so replaced brake shoes today.

The ones I had until now were thick enough, but (IMO) unsafe. That's why:

In the meantime took some photos of my donor car:

Booked a holiday - last week of june. The only thing I'm gonna do is disassembling everything off her.

    Where? If close - maybe.

My woman's grandchildren will be here on that time, so will be busy during the weekend. :(

EDIT: Found it. I'll be there. :D
