    Lovely morning here :)

Sent off the first of this years lambs (albeit only two big single lambs) for their "tour of the burger factory" ;):)
It'll be maybe 2 more weeks before I have any numbers ready to go... but still...

Well I broke out and bought a new Amazone. I will be fitted to the bogey we already have.
With ours out of commission I got in the contractor to cover the farm. Never again the amount of complaining about opening and closing gaps. He even asked would I send someone to open and close them.
His big issue was that it was only 1 bag urea/acre.

Not that I know a whole pile about sheep, but isn't this early? You much have had great grass and had them lambing early and possibly plenty of creep?

No sure I am an expert in this field But I take it your looking at upgrading your van. If its just for regular work and the likes and your not trying to make it a jeep then yes go for toyota again. If your happy enough with the one you have and what your saying is correct a few hundred euro should go along way they rarely give trouble.

    Hi Muckit,

No - I was late lambing this year, these boys were born first week march.

They didn't get any creep, but they were on good grass since they were put out. The fields were reseeded over the last two years.
I setup paddocks, so they were moved to fresh grass every 3-4 days.
I also done a fec test at the right time I think, and found out the dose I had planned to use was totally the wrong one... So using the right one helped I imagine ;)

They both put on almost a half a kg every day (470grams) since they were born :)

But... This is 2 lambs... Everyone has those exceptional few... I must weigh them all at the weekend, and we'll see what the average is. As I have plenty poor-ish lambs at the other end of the scale to balance these 2 out ;):)
