    This would never happen in Ireland and a classic example of why the government ignore flouride in our water.
    With flouride taking away the part of the brain that is responsible for rebelling they have us in the palm if their hands like slugs on lettice surround with slug tox.

    Just spoke to a mate of mine in Sthlm, he had his car set on fire on Wednesday night...not a happy bunny at all.

    I am just back from a week in Stockholm....suburb of Solna which is affected. Aside from lots of police cars I did not see anything and the locals are not talking about it much. Some swedes I met on thursday had not heard about the trouble.
    The taxi ride from the city center to my hotel which should have taken 15 mins took about 25 as the taxis tend to take a safe route at night time avoiding potential trouble spots
    That put the price up from about 40euro to 80euro for a trip back to the hotel.

    Can illegal immigrants work in Sweden? I can't find any information online about it, but some articles suggest that they can't. If they can't, then I would suggest it is probably better to be a legal, documented citizen than the opposite if you are sick.

    The article also suggests that adults only receive full medical coverage for 'urgent' conditions. Again, I would rather be a legal, documented citizen with the ability to at least contemplate paying for health insurance than otherwise.

    Sweden used to lean a lot more to the left, but since the 1990s things have changed. That baldy chap, Rusfeldt? He is like a Harper or Bush I think. Sweden opened it's doors to many immigrants, especially ones from war-torn regions, but things have changed there. There isn't the same generous welfare system about now, that kind of thing waxes and wanes and right now it is definitely waning.

    There might be poor people who don't riot, but it's not like rich people riot too.

    There might be any number of contributing reasons as to why a single riot occurs. But Poverty is always in the mix.

    We are starting to get info on the arrested perps so far.
    Most are well known to police as thugs with family problems, drug use and some mental health issues. No names have been released and probably won't be as it "could fan anti-immigration sentiments". Swedish press has a long history of selective news reporting to appease the masses.
    Many locals spoken to reject the idea that these riots would stem simply from concern over the police shooting of an old man that was gunned down when he allegedly attacked police with a knife after a stand-off.

    This guy is a Sweden Democrat, kinda like a Swedish version of UKIP - less immigration, exit EU etc.

    It's not only in Stockholm now btw, small riots in many other city suburbs/"ghettos" have erupted lately.
