    Oh no Javagal, sorry to hear that. I'm not married and don't have a difficult mum but I reckon it's important to remember that it's your and fiancé's day and focus on that. Hope she relaxes soon!

    I know it's a lot easier said than done but try not to let it get to you too much. You both wanted to keep the wedding small to avoid that kinda drama right? (God I hope IIRC! :p)

    LinkedIn is great, but I'm a divil for going through the people you may know and sending the invites by mistake and I'm like f*ck I probably shouldn't have tried to add the CEO :P

    Hey loungers!

    I'm back from my webternet-free holiday.

    James was the best boy on the plane and for the majority of the trip. He destroyed the rented flat while we slept one morning though. Tore a shelf off the wall and broke the hoover. :eek:

    We got some nice sun and saw some things.

    Berlin zoo is depressing. Animals practically stacked on top of each other. A panther with less living space than a bedsit. Awful.

    There was a cool city farm that had goats and we had great craic feeding them and putting them into trances with neck rubs. James liked the slides in the "sand playgrounds".

    He also learned the German for "No Biting!" because my friend's kid kept gnashing on him. Nevertheless, James still referred to him as his "brother".


    Scan day today. Hitting the road to the hospital for 2pm. Can't wait to see my Chipolata.

    I am idiot! Gory story ahead, spoilered for the squeamish.
    Was cutting a bread roll in my hand last night, with a totally unsuitable, very pointy knife. Knife slipped and went INTO my wrist.
    I'm very sore :(
