Apple Crumble and Apple Pie. Reading this thread made me hungry so am currently eating Apple and Strawberry crumble.

Jelly, not with ice-cream and has to be strawberry.

    Custard.

    Cheesecake.

    Pavalova.

    Ice-cream.

Hell I just love desserts. Honestly, if I ignored the voice in my head I would be obese!

Agreed! The worst thing is when you have something nice and chocolately and you bite into it and there's fecking raisins in it. Why would you do something like that? Happened to me the other day with chocolate biscuit cake. It was rank :(

What, no no no, why would anyone put raisins in? Choc biscuit cake has to be marshmallow, biscuit (obviously), and optional addition of crunchie bar! Oooh, and milk choc only!

Homemade ice cream is hard to beat.

But homemade white chocolate cheesecake trumps everything.

Rhubarb crumble. With either ice-cream, cream or custard. Or all three. ;)

Not massively arsed with chocolately desserts, love fruity, pastry-ish ones.

Anything chocolate based. - fruit has no place in desserts, except strawberries on a pavlova.

I couldn't agree less - fruity desserts are the best. Gawd, that fruity syrup that forms. Drool.

Banoffe Pie or Pavlova, both amazingly good when done right.

One of these days I'm going to make a Key Lime Pie, Mueller used to have a corner yogurt that was Key lime pie flavour when I was younger and they were amazing so I hope the pie isn't a let down.

Also I only had Baked Alaska once, I don't even remember what it tasted like buy I remember it was really good so I must make that as well to see if my memory serves me right.

    God dammit I love desserts!

Bread and butter pudding (Jamie Oliver has an amazing recipe, but it's literally a heart attack in a bowl)

Mince pies that my mum makes, with custard

Yummy upside down apple pie they serve in a tiny seaside town in Spain called tamariu. I'd move there just for the pie....

    Banana Sundae :)

The Pizza place I like near me do the bestest chocolate sundae ever - they make their own ice cream. It's YUUUUUMMMMM.

    Also on my list are:

    Lemon Meringue Pie (my own)
    Fresh Fruit Pavlova (my own)
    Eaton Mess (my own)
    Creme Brulee
    Pannacotta
    Chocolate Roulade from Butlers Pantry
    Rice pudding (my own)
Bread and Butter Pudding (the one they make in work that uses all the previous days pastries om nom nom)
    Apple crumble (my own)
    A bowl of custard :D

Actually, it'd be quicker if I listed the things I didn't like :o

I used to be a chocolate fanatic and am still partial to a nice warm brownie with chocolate sauce and ice cream now and again.

Not a big fan of creamy desserts - I used to work in a restaurant that serve profiteroles. every time if go into the walk-in fridge, I'd have to eat one, so I got a bit sick of cream.:)

More recently, I love a good lemon tart or key lime pie. Something that cleanses the pallet.

Carrot cake when done well is amazing (Has to be generous on the icing, nutty, moist cake, a hint of orange zest)

    God I love dessert.

It was an abomination - I had to spit it out. I was disgusted. I hate hate hate raisins. I love sticky toffee pudding but hate when there's raising in it. Quite often if you ask in restaurants if there is raisins in it they say no and then it arrives with raisins anyway. Disgusting!

My friend makes amazing chocolate biscuit cake with all of the above plus malteasers. Yum! I may have to make some soon :)
