No, I live in London, I just tend to be up quite late. I'm actually heading off now, though.
I hope the pain lessens/drugs kick its ass soon!

Would gladly stay in bed this morning. Didn't sleep too well because I was so warm.

So I've just found out that my friend has planned his birthday party for the same time as mine, and he knew that I had planning it too, so I'm gonna have to cancel mine. Cheers bud...

Big box of free fruit delivered to work this morning, nice healthy start to the week :)

Such a good weekend this weekend, Amlin and Heineken cup finals with himself, and sitting out in the sun in the Phoenix Park yesterday... was hard to drag myself out of the bed this morning to go back to work!

I tried suggesting that another year. Not a chance.

I've had to plan my birthday around his every year even though mine's first, so I decided to get in early and told people, incl him, over a month ago what I was planning and making sure that everyone was free. He's still planned his for the same day so it looks like mine is off.

It's not just him. He's actually normally quite good and would go to my party. It's others whi wouldn't go. They ditched my 21st last year because they were "too tired" even though I went to theirs after 12 hour shifts in work and while sick.

I know I can complain about my friends here a lot and I am sorry for that. I need to take what I can get when it comes to friends and it often means putting up with a lot of ****. I have distanced myself a lot from some of the worst ones though and I am proud of myself for that.

The problem is that all my really good friends are in Maynooth or abroad. I have very little at home

Oh no, you poor thing :(

Are you still in pain? I was in agony for a few hours about 5 days after, thought it was dry socket cos it felt like someone was trying to snap my jaw but it wasn't. Spent alllll of last Monday morning crying like a baby but when I rang the hospital they said it didn't sound like dry socket pain. Nearly everyone I talked to whose had it done said they had a really crap day with pain around day 5/6 after having it done. It passes, promise!

Birthday parties can get so complicated, I don't often do them anymore. Would much rather a meal with my family or a day out with J. My 21st was quite disheartening in some ways.

    I really slept in this morning...oops :D

I'm remembering things and I can't tell if they happened in a dream or in real life. I don't remember talking to anyone but my friends when I was out over the weekend but the conversations are just the type of rubbish I'd spout while drinking (and dreaming seemingly.)

I also got that insane wisdom tooth pain about 6 or 7 days after surgery, was convinced I had dry socket but it wasn't. Just keep washing it out well with Corsadyl and it'll hopefully improve

Five of my friends came to my 21st. It was a joint 18th (Brother), 21st (me) and 50th (dad) - so it didn't look like nobody turned up because it was filled with everyone elses people.

But I got to find out that I'd passed my degree and got to be about six feet away from Robbie Williams the same weekend, so it could have been worse..

It was dry socket. :( Only one of my sockets was sore - the others never hurt much at all.

Just back from the hospital. They rinsed it (which felt a bit like sciatica in my mouth) and gauzed it and gave me more painkillers.

The gauze made it much better, though. :)

    How are you now?

Jesus ****ing Christ I'm raging. I saw my psychiatrist at the end of March/start of April. They agreed to send a letter to my therapist so he could proceed with certain treatments. I've been in contact with him a couple of times and he hasn't received anything. I rang the hospital last week about the letter and they said they couldn't find out anything until the consultant was there. So I rang back this morning when the consultant was there to be told they only had to check with the secretary. Then they tell me that they're still waiting on letters to be typed up by their typing service from last ****ing December! They are ****ing around with my health and I'm so ****ing angry now.

Oh noes! Glad the gauze helped though.

I'm fine! Jaw is loosening out with lots of heat and massage. I did accidently rip out one of my stitches at the weekend which hurt like a mofo but sure that's what I get for being stoopid

Would your psychiatrist maybe ring them to hurry it up?

I don't know what they can do. I think medical stuff needs to be in writing to establish a proper record of what's going on. I do know I'll be ringing the hospital every hour until my therapist gets the letter.

Hope you're okay PR! One thing this thread has taught me is that wisdom teeth are nasty business!
