i dont know what is it
i dont think i can even drive with her anywhere

I can move the paw up and down without any pain, just no pressure on it
    that's a good sign right

Yup it is. Check her toes( is that what they're called?) maybe she hurt one of them?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,238 ✭✭✭javagal

Check her nails bluey. kojak often jumps from my bed and breaks a nail, then he'll nurse it and cry for a while then pull it off!

Nails and toes okay checked the paw joint earlier and that seemed to be it, I can gently squeeze along the whole leg now without crying

Sorry I am full of doggy drama lately
I was looking forward to a quiet day!! :p

In such a bad mood this morning. Don't know why.

  • Posts: 81,310 CMod ✭✭✭✭ Reed Muscular Rocker

    Definitely not the paw pad
Won't stay on bed, won't stay on couch, won't stay in room... put down pillows for her to lie at an angle that doesn't affect the paw, no, has to lie on the ground
Seems okay for now though as long as she doesn't move
I have to go to gparents' for dinner later, I hope this improves!

In the meantime, bit of reading/oblivion then 30 DS then baking :)

I'm lying curled up on the couch watching tv.

    I has a happy, I don't have to study :)

The oh's father is coming from Sydney on Wednesday so I have to clean clean clean tomorrow and Tuesday!

Just a book/dictionary that has medical terms to be honest. It doesn't need to be anything fancy, just something basic with the different terms. :)

I bought the Oxford Medical Dictionary before I even entered medschool and couldn't recommend it more highly.

It has an awful lot in it and is very good. There's even a colour edition apparently! :D

Alternatively, you could try the Merck manual (Home edition). Also very good and has very long, detailed explanations in easy to understand language (I used to study from it to get the basics and then move up to the higher textbooks for the more detailed stuff).

patient.co.uk is a brilliant website as well. Would have plenty of info on it too.

Freedom tastes good. Notwithstanding the fact that I had a drink spilled on me last night and I flattened myself on the dancefloor of the Tower, I had an awesome night

Could have stayed with J again tonight except my 18 year old sister can't spend a night in the house by herself so I'm on the poxy bus home. Hungover :(

Almost empty train. Typically the drunk crazy man stinking of booze comes and sits next to me. I always feel rude moving though but I think it will have to be done :pac:

I'm sick too cause being the moron I am I forgot to bring my pills with me :( Wish I had a blanky.

    Buns cooling, icing dyed
Gave kiki an epsom salt bath on her paw, it helped a lot. Still limping very badly but she can at least limp, no sign of even sitting up this morning as opposed to now. Think she'll be ok! Gave her dentastix and cheese and the orange colour bone thing she likes :o
12 buns, think I can give a few to the neighbours + kids if they're still out playing :)

Big decisions to make. Meant to be going to see my friend in London the end of September but I'm thinking about booking a one way flight and just staying over there. I think I need to get out of my comfort zone

Do it! Life's too short and if you don't like it you're only an hour away from home ;)

Nothing right now. I'm not long out of a long term relationship so I think the change of scenery would do me good

I miss baking so much. But I'm working really hard to get out of my habit of always eating :pac:

So I was meant to do college work today, but instead I did a small bit earlier and took a 'break' and said I'd get back to it later, but ended up spending the after noon doing nothing and now I'm lying in bed listening to music on Youtube.

Just two more weeks and I'll have freedom. All I have to do is survive the next two weeks.........

The Eurovision drinking game meant I only had one bottle of beer left by then end of the Eurovision. By the time I was home I was mostly sober. It's an interesting way to address hangovers.
