Dot Cotton maybe 100 years old but I can relate to her when she said to Fatboy "I don't speak gibberish".

It's embedded into them at this stage. Plus it's also the old "it's cool to be dumb" attitude, a myth perpetuated by dumb people who needed to come up with a good excuse for failing Foundation Level English. Only losers know big words or how to spell properly. Look at them...with their books, and education, and good jobs. Tinking der bettr dan me. Dnt dey kno da guvament givs ou free muny neway?

I disagree, i know loads of people who had everybody fooled with the whole "being dumb" thing, always up for a laugh, acted completely stupid and were studying their asses off behind the scenes. I think its more of a "its cool to be dumb", so il do it to fit in but then leave all you really dumb people claiming dole while i go manage a bank and embezzle all your money you have been saving for playstation games without you noticing because i have seen your leaving cert results and know that you cannot add, for you are simple.

Could "ditday people" be an unpunctuated form of D.I.T. day people, i.e. students who take classes in one of the Dublin Institutes of Technology during the day as opposed to availing of night classes which I believe they offer? The reference to Jeremy Kyle is possibly slagging off full time students (as opposed to working part time ones) who the quoted FB user views as layabouts who spend their time outside of class watching trashy daytime TV.

I wouldn't be so sure. Lots of people pretend to be less intelligent than they they are for strategic reasons. Read up on the Roman emperor Claudius for example. I think that once one looks past the almost indecipherable language used the person in question may have actually let slip some halfway insightful social commentary.

But if it's insightful commentary, where does Jeremy Kyle fit in?

He/she is commenting on the media consumption habits (which apparently include the Jeremy Kyle Show) of full time students, rather than approving of Mr Kyle's approach to psychological &/or sociological analysis itself.

Still don't have a notion what it means though/

Kinda tempted to go down through a load of her old status' to see if anything can eventually make sense.

I've shown it to various crossword/soduco experts and none of them can work it out.
