He was a great guitar player/song writer, but he is given far too much credit. Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding never get a mention despite their talent.

Noel Redding wasn't even the best bass player in the band :D

What else is a chat show about? A guest comes on the show and they are asked about their life. Depending on how private they are, some of them might very open to the point of TMI and some of them are ao private that they come across as aloof.

I still stand by by point. During the day, most chat shows are hosted by an older guy and youner, empathatic woman because their target audience is women but in the evenings, the vast magority of shows are hosted by men. If men are not as gossipy or nosey as women, then please can you explain to me the success of male hosts?

I find David Letterman one of the most gossipy type of chat show hosts out there. He's about ten times bitchier than most too. He's also one of the most successful in that kind of work.

Hardly an "unsual" opinion, to be fair?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Unpopular. A public vote failed to select them. reasonable expression of unpopularity.

Here's my humble but probably controversial opinion.

People should have to pass an exam of sorts before being allowed to vote. No harder than a provisional driving license exam but proof that your responsible enough to participate in democracy.

I've been sexually attracted to teenage girls.

Nothing has ever happened but I've had impure though of girls who are probably underage.

    Q:What is responsibility?
A: Responsibility is acting in accordance with our obligations

Given that the extent and nature of "our obligations" is the most contentious question in political theory, the proposal seems unworkable.

If we can't even come to a common agreement of what our obligations are, then there is an a priori incapacity to determine our individual measures of personal responsibility.

I hate comedy movies. I think they're stupid and if anyone ever acted like some of the characters on these movies (e.g. Adam Sanders) in real life I would think they are idiots. Most of these movies are geared towards young lower intelligence girls (obvisiously a large part of the girl population is not stupid). I think less of adults especially men who watch these chic flicks. Give me a movie with an intelligently written story with great actors any day of the week.

There's more to comedy than Adam Sandler and chick flicks. Do you just not like laughing in general?

Comedy is a lot broader than just Adam Sandler films, what about classics like Some Like It Hot? Dr Stangelove? Blazing Saddles? Midnight Run? The Jerk? to name but a few.

I cannot stand the Daft Punk song 'Get Lucky'

    Overplayed, repetitive tripe

If abortion is not introduced, the population is going to continue to rise. Ireland now has the highest birth rate in the Eu which is shocking considering our population of around 4 million compared to that over the entire EU which i believe is just over 500 million people.

If abortion is introduced, it'll probably still rise.

Also your other point doesn't make sense. Birth rates are rates, as in per 1000 people per year, that's what makes them useful as a comparison. The fact that Germany, for example, has 80 million people doesn't mean their rate is higher.

On a related note, I hate people using maths / statistics when they don't know how they work.

From looking at his Twitter, Donal Walsh seemed like a bit of an annoying character ( I have worded that as nice as possible )

Leaving aside the fact that that's a pretty tasteless and unpleasant thing to say on the day the kid was buried, it really isn't fair. He was 16. I don't know about you, but if Twitter had been around when I was that age, mine would probably have looked quite annoying.

I do like laughing and I laugh alot with friends. These movies aint funny. They're predictable and sappy. It's the same with horror movies. I don't get scared watching horror's - hence I don't like them.

I've never seen any of the movies you mentioned. I have to say that Borat had me in bits laughing thou.

Ah, but your original point was comedy movies, full stop. You're not looking very hard if you ask me - and if you watch an Adam Sandler/Jim Carrey type movie (and frankly, there are too much fo them, but if that;s what people are paying to see...) and give up, of course you;re going to assume that opinion.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I've always felt that Jim Carrey was incredibly unfunny. I much prefer a comic like George Carlin or Bill Hicks, who actually evoke some form of intelligent response.

On another note; Emma Watson simply isn't as jaw-droppingly beautiful as some like to think, IMO.

Of course she's a beautiful woman, not saying I'm not attracted to her either, but she seems to be lauded as one of the sexiest women on the planet by some. I don't see it.

Bill Hicks has kind of been ruined for me by countless people putting up the same clips on facebook and the like. There's plenty of other great comedians out there. Louis CK, David Cross and Mitch Hedburg to name a few.

There's your problem, just watch better comedy films.

Yeah, I get what you mean.

Louis C.K., There's another brilliant comedian. Probably my second favorite of all time behind Carlin.

Comics, yeah, but I think he was talking movies.

Jim Carrey was funny when he was fresh (Ace Ventura, Dumb and Dumber) but aftr that it got hammy, overacted and repetitve.

I really enjoyed the Truman Show, but more because of the ideas than him,
