Superquinn in the Kilbarry Centre maybe?
Also, any of the Carry Out off-licences might stock it although stock can vary wildly from store to store depending on the owner.

Anyone know of any off licences in the Waterford area that sell any of the brewdog beers?

World wide wines, as mentioned. Best off licence in Waterford.

Yeah got bottles of punk and 5am saint for €2.65 each. Ardkeen stores off licence isn't bad either, good stock of the Williams brothers beers. Probably best 2 places in town for something different, obviously not the cheapest though.

Busy buachaill sending these around the country in work today.
    Only bottled about 12hrs ago.
Delicious chocolately coffee taste with a smooth whiskey/sherry finish and nose.
    Very enjoyable.
Available in Cork @ galvins carry out bandon road (now), douglas and carrigaline(soon)
Number 21 coburg st, and midlelton

I know a good few cases went to dublin's better off liceneces today so should be on the shelves there

Hopefully a few more places over the next few days, stock is ridiculously scarce.
€2.99 and well worth it, Great to have another great 8 degrees limited edition out, they are really excelling themselves with them imo.

Hearing rumours of another limited edition whiskey stout being brought out by another Irish brewery very soon, will post when I know more

€6.50 a litre in Abbot's, Cork at the moment!
A little on the dear side that. I picked up the 500ml bottle in Blackpool for €2.95.

Oh, have they given up on bottle conditioning? I'd have thought, of all their beers, this would be ideal for it.

DrinkStore certainly had it yesterday afternoon.

Good news, probably my favourite style at the moment, Ola Dubh, Fran Well Jemmy, Kindred Spirit are all pretty good beers.

I was underwhelmed with KS at the beer festival down in the Dublin Quays earlier in the year, but when I got it in a pub a couple of weeks later I was amazed by it. Must search out a bottle.

It's also on sale in Bradly's on North Main Street. They got them in yesterday afternoon. There will be hell to pay if I don't get a bottle or two of it this afternoon in there!

The Fran Well have another round of their Jameson Stout aging away now. So, that should be out pretty soon, I guess.

Not really dear at all, it's actually a very decent price for draught beer. It's 2 pints (or as near as makes no difference), remember.

    .

Thats what I was told anyway, I was down there last week and it definitely was'nt bottled then, but then again I didnt even know that they bottle conditioned brews, and I wouldnt know enough to understand what difference it would make to the beer. I would liked to have seen it in a litre bottle like the fran well did with their jameson stout last year, still though way preferred kindred spirit to that.

looking forward to hear what you think of it, have tried out a good few beers based on your blog and always found it to be spot on. Thanks:D

You'll need to look backwards :D I reviewed it last March. I like it. Had a lovely after-dinner pint of it in Farrington's Temple Bar on Sunday.

Did 8 degrees ever bottle condition?

I'm 99% sure their beer has always been filtered?

Just picked up a few kindred spirits, off work tomorrow so I'll be tucking into them tonight :)

I had a hoppelhammer a couple of weeks ago and was impressed.
Had one again last night and thought it was poor.
Tried a west Kerry brewery golden ale this evening. It was nice enough but don't think I'll buy it again.
Sipping an innis & gunn rum cask now and it's delicious, best I've tried from their range. Only slightly spoiled by my kids howling upstairs in the bath

Having a Brewfist/Beer Here Caterpillar Pale Ale. Mightily impressed. Looks, smells, tastes great. The reason why I love beer! :)

Picked up a couple bottles of Cooper's pale ale. My Aussie friend swears by it.

    Rogue Juniper Pale Ale.

    ... I dunno...

Edit: It grew on me, mid bottle.

It's not great is it. I had 2 Rogue beers last week. Chatoe Roguenbier Rye Ale & Chipotle Ale. The jury is still out on the Chipotle Ale, it had a vegetable like taste of chilli but little to no heat. It wasn't unpleasant, just not a beer I'd rush back to. The Rye Ale on the otherhand was terrible. Really considered ditching it. I know there's not a lot of love for Rogue Beers here, but these two weren't great.

No, to be fair, after I had decided if I liked the Juniper Berry taste, I realised, beneath that, it wasn't really a good IPA, anyway. I'm trying the Dead Guy Ale later, but for now, for me Rogue are one for two, with the good one being the Hazelnut Ale.

Was going to try a light and bitter, drunk by my English uncle. Consists of a Courage Directors and bitter, but settled for the Directors only. Will be having a Worthingtons Red Shield and a Shepherd Neame Pale Ale as well.

I'm having my first ever Rogue tonight, this one:

    Rogue-Hazelnut-Label.png

Very nice but pricey enough for a 330ml.

why have one before bed when you can have 2 ;)

    Having one of these now

It's lovely stuff!, I normally have the sparkling ale (red label) my brother tells me they roll it or tip it upside down then serve it in oz, it's makes it cloudy as hell though, takes a bit of getting used to!
