If he decides to sell it again next week, which hopefully he will be I'll be having it. Not quite sure why you think that though...

Well you're a great lad to say "I'd wager................ " bla bla bla, in this case I'd wager €10 you'll be buying sfa this week or next wheel along the lines of a car :)

Seeing as I'd booked in the viewing for tomorrow with another boardsie and was ready to put the deposit down tomorrow I think you're mistaken.

All going to plan, hopefully I can view it next week and even bring it home next week. It's a pain though, with exams starting on Tuesday was hoping to get this done beforehand, ah well...

You can wager all you like James. :)

I don't quite see the point of this. The guy said he isn't sure if he'll sell it anymore as he might have to sell his other car instead. He told me that he will be in contact next week, apparently under pressure from his missus and kids supposedly.

Now I don't know how much of that I believe but it's not a case of me not going to buy the car it's more a case of finding out if he'll sell it to me. If he will then it's going to be mine.

Why would anyone bet on something like that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,721 ✭✭✭✭CianRyan

You were telling me of what you wanted to buy like two weeks ago but it's totally slipped my mind. Driving me nuts. :D

If the seller decides he is still going to sell it and I don't buy it when he does then yes I have no problem donating the money to a charity of RJ's choice, absolutely no problem.

I do have a problem with betting on something that I haven't a notion of what the outcome might be.

There were insurance concerns about the future purchase.

Always happy to hear that, take it for a spin in 3-4 months time by the end of the summer and we'll see then...;) :D

@Autosport - I heard they keep doing it on really clean cars, drive through a few puddles next time should sort it..:D Using a small dab of petrol is excellent at removing tar spots, I'd imagine it's the same with bird crap.. :)

Haha, I'm not thick, just a sheer lack of experience in body work. I only used sandpaper because I've seen people saying they sand things down to paint them, I take it that's a different kind of sanding?

They really are very light though, the pictures make it look a lot worse than it is, bit more wax and polish and it's not all that noticeable. What is DA?

    Needed a laugh!
