I'd go as far as to say that you get a Vice City vibe off Micheal's trailer, a san andreas 'LA hood' vibe off franklin and a san andreas country style vibe off tervor.
I thought the same thing about Michael and Franklin, Franklin is pure San Andreas.

The stories have a completely different feel to them. Trevor seems like a comedy sidekick at this stage. I wonder will they have different roles, will Michael be a property tycoon, they seem to make a big deal out of his money but unless he can spend it, it won't make much difference to the game.

Nothing much really was hoping for gameplay, how will the game work do you pick your man at the start or do you play it like assassins creed characters swap around?

You can switch between pretty much at any time (some might depend on missions though, but in freeplay anyway). When you're controlling Michael for example, Franklin and Trevor are controlled by the computer. If you switch to Trevor, the map zooms out from Michael and zooms in to Trevor, and you start controlling him while Michael starts being controlled by the computer (so they don't just wait around where you left them, the computer controls them when you're not playing as them and they could be driving around or doing a minigame etc when you choose to switch to them)

So what happens if your in the middle of a large rampage and then switch out? I assume that character still has to feel the wrath of your actions? Maybe characters can be locked if you get them arrested?

Not fully sure how it works to be honest. Not sure if you're able to drive Michael to where Franklin is and kill him for example. That's really the only info we have so far on the mechanics of it. You're one character, you switch to another, camera zooms out, zooms back in, that character could be in the middle of doing something rather than just standing where you left him.

Maybe if you get arrested/killed with one character, you're forced into a change, and can't switch bak to that other character for a few in-game hours. Or maybe you can go with the new character and free the one you got killed or something...

I would assume that in missions if you die as one character you fail the mission.

All speculation at this point though.

Does anyone know who is doing the voice acting? Walton Goggins would have been perfect for Trevor but I think the main characters are all unknowns?

    Shane Vendrell :D

My theory would be that if you have a wanted level it does the same as trying to start a mission while having stars. As in it just doesnt switch until you get rid of them.
It would be very easy way of getting around it all.

Dissapointed not to see many new locations. I wonder have we seen everywhere on the maps now, or are there still new places to be revealed.

Any predictions on the radio stations?

Based on the trailers, there'll be a country one, a classic rock one, possibly an 80's funk/soul station, a modern west coast hiphop station.

Wouldn't be surprised if there was also a classic west coast G Funk station. Maybe a brostep or Chillwave station. Probably some type of latin one given the latino culture of LA.

That was a bit disappointing in that it didn't reveal anything new, really. City looks to be fairly average, and I think we've seen all there really is to see of it (unfortunately :( ).

That said, the characters themselves do seem to be pretty well done. Trevor being in the country really helps separate him from the other two. The tone of his 'trailer' seems massively contrasting to the other two (which were different, obviously, but a bit 'samey' due to their surroundings I reckon).

Hasn't really hyped me up at all, but I still look forward to playing it.

    Awwww FÚCK YEAH!!!!

Franklin was actually my favourite of the three there... Definitely still a Green theme on the clothing. An evolution of the Grove Street families. One of the guys shot had a purple hat so I'd assume there are still "Ballas" around.

The Trevor story seems the one with all the insane madness and humour.

I can't wait to get this.... Gonna be unreal. Can't believe I still get this excited about a game in my 30's.

Is that the voice of Ice Cube at 1:48? He's one of the characters in Franklin's video.

Yet again Rockstar don't reveal any game-play elements whatsoever. A couple of voice actors and snippets of action stuff happening with various cam angles. Same thing happened with GTA IV

I havent been following the development of this closely, but after seeing the trailer I will be following its progression closely up until its release. Looks promising!

Ice Cube confirmed a few months back via Twitter that he wasn't Franklin but that he was not anybody else. And one of the guys that Franklin is talking to sound identical to his voice.
@icecube: Sorry homie, I'm not Franklin in the new Grand Theft Auto game. Close but no cigar.

You get a free KIFFLOM t-shirt if you pre-order from the Rockstar Warehouse, I think it's only available in North America though.
