As expected (I'm surprised it took this long).

Absolutely no problem throwing all kinds of accusations at the Rangers fans ('Yer all nazis and fascists' and similar bollocks), but lo and behold when there's a response (with facts, by the way).
As for that song and the faux outrage by some of you, in the words of Stephen Fry:

    John Chalmers ring any bells?

Remember the rumors about Richard Gough?

Beasts are everywhere in all sections of society. Unlike you we take no pleasure that you had some in your club.

It takes a fairly warped individual to take pleasure from child abuse and use it as something to point score with.

Have you not just tried to do that?

This thread is a complete joke at this stage

Actually it was started by a video of (more than two) The Rangers fans, so how about you drop this babyish "naw he started it!!!" nonsense and address what is being said.

I did, it was a stupid question which got an equally stupid answer.
Nevermind your "But it's a minority" comment though eh?

...he says, with his tit for tat reply.....

Yeah me pointing out paedophiles are everywhere including the club of the people who revel in it is the same thing as the big lie.

Sorry if my posts offend you and the bears.

Rumours around that Rangers will play in Berlin this summer, to face Union. :D

Brilliant news, great club and a fantastic city.

More news will be posted today, as it's not 100% sure yet.

A few good pre-season matches could make a massive difference to the harmony and confidence in the squad.
It's not an excuse for how we've performed this season, but the carry on regarding wether we were actually going to be allowed to play or not right up until this season kicked off must have had a real unsettling effect on the players and staff.

it just added to the "thrown together" nature of this season.

Your not really now are you?:(

Really whoever started this ****, has to have a good look at themselves!

Seems like it's not Rangers that are heading to Berlin, but some smaller diddy club :pac:

Seen as you love telling people to read it again maybe you should do the same, he directed us to a point in the clip after the slur.

The focus of the post was quite clearly a light hearted ( some would argue not light hearted) jibe at rangers fans accepting being a zombie club.

You were the one who decided to deflect from the joke and make it about Stein and you don't even have the balls to admit it

    Morally bankrupt

Edit: nice to see ye are all around for a chat when the conversation isn't about rangers woes

    Hmmm - Now let's see....

    Post 3007.
Does this mean the Rangers fans finally admit its a new club and they are zombies?

1minute in after the slur on Jock Stein.

Celtic fans started the conversation, in order to have a dig.
Celtic fans carry the conversation on, in order to have a dig.

    Morally bankrupt indeed.

Edit - In relation to your edit, i seem to have imagined the pages of discussion over the last couple of years about Green, Whyte et al.
I must get myself checked out.

Haha why didn't you continue listing the posts? A couple mire paints a clearer picture

It's quite clear that back and forth was zombie club digs (harmless maybe tiresome at this stage but still harmless) and then big daddy bear had to talk about the paedo stuff....again

Ye call us obsessed about ye, why is daddy bear obsessed about child abuse.

    Still morally bankrupt

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

He wasn't the one who brought it up by posting a video, pretending to be all offended like.
Your 'morally bankrupt' crap is tedious, and hypocrite to say the least.

Wait a minute? Why are we completely ignoring Horsie's "Minority" comments?

You really are deluded at times.
Not to mention the fact that twice the Rangers supporters on this thread have attempted to bring it back to footballing matters, and you lot havn;t allowed it.

There's a growing element of Celtic fans on this forum that are nothing but twisted, deluded fantasists.

Wait.. your argument is that Celtic fans are pretending to be offended by a smear campaign led by The Rangers fans to slander the name of one of the greatest men in the history of our club?

I think you'll find most decent human beings find that carry on disgusting. If you don't then you need to consider what that says about you.

You completely ignore everything in the media posted about your club.

From Green to Ahmed, from Brown to Easdale. None of you post anything.

When child abuse springs up you are all like a fly to ****e.

A Sevco fan calling someone delusional, hilarious.

Yeah, try and turn it around in a personal attack on me, it's what you do best it seems.
Me and the other Rangers fans on here have already mentioned time and time again that the song has no place in any football ground, so I don't know why you decided to bring it up again.

For what it's worth: I don't believe for a second you're actually offended, but if you want to pretend you are then go ahead.
And if you really are offended then I refer to the Stephen Fry quote.

And don't even think about turning Jock Stein into some martyr who is abused by all Bears, I still haven't forgotten the vile accusations aimed by one of your fellow fans on here towards Bill Struth and William Wilton.

edit: And it's of course always good to see the old claim of 'Ah, but what the Celtic fans sing is just banter' pop up again, seems like that's the easy way out isn't it ?

    Are you a parody account?

You've spent all day telling people they shouldn't be offended by stuff sung at football, then you post this?

Your hypocrisy knows no bounds. :pac:

Just pointing out the hypocrisy of your own fans, but I guess that was a bit too difficult to get into your thick head.

Once again, this thread turns into a mess of semantics and interpretation.

You'd almost think it was deliberate......

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

Of course it's deliberate, they're not here to talk about football.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 439 ✭✭Lonesome Boatman

As for that 'vile accusation' about William Struth (who?) and William Winton (who?) and the faux outrage by some of you, in the words of Stephen Fry:

    Quote:
'It's now very common to hear people say, "I'm rather offended by that", as if that gives them certain rights. It's no more than a whine. It has no meaning, it has no purpose, it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. "I'm offended by that." Well, so ****ing what?'

    :pac:

I'm not attacking you, it's your own posts we're talking about here.
And don't even think about turning Jock Stein into some martyr who is abused by all Bears, I still haven't forgotten the vile accusations aimed by one of your fellow fans on here towards Bill Struth and William Wilton.
I'm only here to argue my own point, I don't speak for anyone else. I have no idea who Bill Struth and William Wilton are, in fact I just did a search on the thread for both and you're the first person to mention either.
And it's of course always good to see the old claim of 'Ah, but what the Celtic fans sing is just banter' pop up again, seems like that's the easy way out isn't it ?
Okay so, in the true spirit of tit-for-tat what is the Celtic equivalent? What song do the GB sing that is on a plane with BJK that we excuse as "just banter"?
