Unfortunately, all the Boston Marathon bombs took was a 12 pound pressure cooker, a small amount of explosives, a timing device, some shrapnel, the desire to horrifically maim individuals and voilá. All of the instructions are online if you look for them, no training required. I think that's what's so difficult to understand about this atrocity, the background of these men has been analysed inside out by the US news networks all day, but they have been US citizens for a long time. Add to that the availability of high velocity weapons, and well, we have a lock-down and a man-hunt.
