CNN providing a description of the guy, asking people to contact the police if they see him. All good but interesting that they made a point of saying "Suspect is a Muslim". As if that helps people identify him better??

In times like this, to most Americans, all Muslims look the same.
So just grab anyone you see that is Muslim.

My wife made a good point last night about the location of the bombs, behind the flags at the finish line, indicating some larger motive, not necessarily anti-US.

Possible motive being a protest at the UN's inaction about what Russia has done to Chechnya?

Sorry, but had to laugh when I read these bits a few pages back..

Younger brother may have suicide vest.
Older brother may have had detonation trigger.
Younger brother may have run over older brother.

    Yeah.

Horrible thing to say, but maybe if he had died, instead of the brother, the brother would've suffered a little.

It's possible that this kid got roped into something he didn't understand.

At 19 years old barring severe mental illness you know what will happen when you leave a bomb next to innocent bystanders. He killed an 8 year old boy and blew his younger sisters leg off and people on here are trying to cut him slack?? I hope he is caught alive so we can get more info on motive etc.

Why of course, just look out for someone matching his description who stops to pray in the direction of Mecca 5 times a day.

Western massmedia already called them "Russians living in US" like there is Russia behind this attacks. Brilliant masterpiece of mass mind manipulation. Oh God - we're doomed!!

But they are Russians living in the West?! What should they say?

Can't imagine that life in Prison or Guantanamo appeals to him, or anyone, so as morose as this is to think, he's probably gearing up for the 'Blaze of Glory', or for the cowards way out.

This is so weird watching all this! Very glad we live so far removed from this...

    Must be nice. :(

I hate this BS. You do know 47% of people in Boston are non-white? Bostonians aren't the ignorant racists as your ignorant posts suggest.

Not trying to cut him slack. Just going by what everyone that knew him is saying.

They're just showing the MIT Police Officer that was killed last night, on Sky.

He looks very young too.. :(

Seems people certainly CAN'T control themselves anymore, yourself included Tamerlan.

If they're ethnic Chechens, I'd imagine they're about as anti-Russian as you can get. While it's technically correct, it's over-simplifying to the point of being misleading.

Boston itself is a small city. Relatively large metro area though.

If you included Metro Boston, the figure would be much higher.

Lots of US cities are actually quite small, but if you take in the larger metropolitan area they've massive. San Francisco is the same.

If you can't get the police feed and loathe the cable news anchors, you can listen to WBUR online - it is the local public radio station.
