I love smoked salmon or tuna on a warm bread roll in the morning. Apparently eating fish for breakfast is weird but it's the best breakfast ever. Screw cereal.

I eat the chocolate and caramel off the top of a Twix until there is just the biscuit left......then munch on the biscuit.

I do it the other way round :D

What a subject for post 5555

Sometimes I'll buy a small roll and a mars bar, heat up the roll then put the mars bar inside and eat it like a salad roll or whatever. The chocolate and caramel and everything is completely melted on the inside. It's delish and probably so bad for you.

I know a couple of people who don't like their food touching on their plate. My friend's brother also won't eat any cold meats at all, seems to associate it with being raw.

I eat exactly the same things for lunch and supper every single day. I'm just not interested enough in food to plan, buy and eat different things.

I touch the food off my chin before putting it in my mouth.

I love dried super noodles. When I open a packet I'd munch on half the pack dry before cooking them.

Kippers, marmalade and black pudding in between toasted white bread.

    It's sweet,oily,smoky,fishy and meaty.

Freak. Then again, some people have a genetic condition that makes eating boring.

    How's Raymond these days?

Meat has to be on the righthand side of the plate, spuds on the left and the veg to the rear.
I get very hot & bothered if its presented differently.

I know I shouldn't be I really wanna try that!!

I love the heel of a cottage love, toasted with an absolute hape of butter and ketchup mmmmmmmmm

I love to eat uncooked white pudding.

When I was young I used to eat 4 slices of bread stacked on top of each other without butter or anything - just plain.

When I'm eating I start from the same part of my plate and eat my food section by section, counterclockwise. If I have to get up or do something and my plate gets moved I need to find the exact way the plate was positioned so I can resume eating.

I can't eat food that has a soft texture such as jelly, yogurt, custard etc.

my hubby always eats the meat part of his dinner last - when we have meat and 2 veg. He eats the veg first, then the potatoes and then the meat. Eats in the order of least - most preference. Says it leaves the nicest taste in his mouth at the end.

I think that is beyond weird and systematic!! I take a little of each and put it on my fork and eat like a normal person!! :-)

However, if eating a moro bar - I take a small bite off each end, peel off the chocolate top and eat that and then eat the biscuit bit.

Oh, and I also like my glasses of wine REALLY big ;-) !!

I think we may have been separated at birth, I even married a man with those exact food habits!

He also likes to "take his time" eating? My family chow down as though our plates will be removed in about 5 minutes, therefore we have to clear our plates before that happens :o

Does anyone else bite the Milky Way chocolate off the edges, then eat the inside part?

I more or less only eat chicken. Chicken curry, chicken fajitas, fried chicken, plain chicken. That's about it.

If a particular food is on the oposite side of my plate, I'll spin the plate around instead of reaching that small bit further. I also prefer to eat white pudding raw and instant noodles dry. Can't stand milk in cereal, and often add those chocolate mint bars from lidl to my ham, cheese and ketchup sandwiches for lunches. Oh, when feeling really lazy or rushed, I have been known to just eat choclate bars, not bothering to unwrap them!

Same as myself; eat the rabbit food first, then get to the proper food. Inherited this from my grandfather and father. Only way I know how to eat a roast dinner or anything that has veg and potatoes and meat. Meat gets eaten last.

I used to eat all the cheese/toppings off a pizza then eat the saucey dough.
    mash potato sandwiches

Yet I want to punch those who put crisps on bread

NO butter on sandwiches (gag) or in mash, but love real butter on toast and corn on the cob.

Put in one (and a bit for luck) spoonfuls of coffee.

Turn my plate so meat is at the top left, spuds at the bottom, veg at the right. Eat all 3 together and last moutful always has a bit of all 3. Have no idea why. Didnt even notice i did it until it was pointed out to me.

Never drink tea straightaway either. Others are on the second cup and mine is still "cooling".

When ya write this stuff down it sounds so odd :p I'm sure there's more.

when i buy marshmallows I have to put them on a tray to ''let them air'' and leave them a day or two until they are chewy, cant stand them soft!!

Will gag I get the smell of bananas but no problem with the taste!

always have to dissect timeouts, purple snacks, aeros etc

My granny puts a dollop of butter into her bowl of soup instead of buttering the bread ugh

I'm also in the meat last camp. But to add to that, I can't drink anything during the meal. I wait until I'm finished eating before drinking anything. Nothing like stuffing yourself with a big pizza and getting really thirsty, then throwing back a can of coke for ultimate refreshment!

I eat raw onions, eat tomatoes like an apple, eat the core of the apple.
If I eat a peach or plum, I have to leave the stones clean and dry. No mushy fruit left on it.

I would put anything in a sandwich. Chicken fried rice and curry sauce, mashed potato and curry sauce, potato and cabbage, I love crackers with goats cheese and crisps.

I love food too much :( especially meat. I could eat meat constantly. I love ham and lamb, and I like brown chicken more than the white breast.

I also used to drink the gravy after dinner, And butter waffles before I ate them.

I'm the only person I know that's like this, but I don't like slices of meat, I prefer to pull a chunk off. I can eat it in strips then. So much nicer, especially with lamb and ham!

I can only eat eggs that I've cooked myself. I like eggs hard boiled or well cooked if they're fried and it makes me nauseous if someone puts an egg they've cooked on my plate. I rarely eat a cooked breakfast and I wouldn't order one when we eat out. I can't even bear to look at my husband eat a soft egg that someone else has cooked. Even looking at a soft egg yolk makes me gag.

I do that too. Also I hate (actually cant abide by) my food touching off each other on the plate too. There must be a no contact zone in place for each of the food groups.
Weird thing is that this doesn't bother me with anything other than a meat and two veg dinner. If its a curry or pasta meal then it is perfectly acceptable to have the food touching.

I do that but I eat the middle bit first.
Roll up the middle bit into doughy balls and fry in garlic butter.

Me too. My husband is always giving out to me for taking so long to finish eating whatever meal we're sitting down to.
He on the other hand seems to eat his food so fast its like someone is either going to steal it from him or he is attacking it.
