    I joined a Yahoo group about emulator games in 2001. The group itself was grand, but my yahoo name was similar to here (obvious vagina owner) and I had a 4 or 5 photos on my profile from 98 that I had forgotten about.

    I made two posts. The first was an introduce yourself, saying hi, these be the games I like. Within an hour I had messages from guys filling my inbox. I had 2 threads dedicated to me with guys arguing about whether I'm "hot" or not. Then guys wading in stating that I could be a bitch so for the other bros not to get their hopes up about me. Someone took the few pictures from my account and posted them in a thread giving his aesthetic opinion of each and inviting others to comment.

    I was young and stupid, so I made a second post: just here to talk about emulators, okay? Thus proving the doubters right and confirming myself as a bitch.

    I've never before or since encountered such pure distilled sexism. I felt violated if I'm honest. These guys thought this was a perfectly acceptable way to behave.

    A friend of mine while we were in college loved searching for the worst things on the Internet. His excitement was from the reactions of his victims after he discovered some online treasure.

    His life was completed after he found and registered on a beastiality forum. He spent the next four hours reading comments, that to this day, I can't understand. His narration of comments and his howling laughter as he read them still haunt me.

    /b/ can be good for a laugh sometimes, but 90% its just not worth it. You should look at /pol/ hah hah.

    The only "good" boards on 4chan are the wallpaper boards, /out/ and some of the exclusive pic sharing boards.

    Oh boy, where to begin.....

    There's a forum that specializes in poo. Absolutely everything to do with poo and not in the porno sense, just a bunch of people talking about their love for it.

    They share recipes (poo dip for your Doritos, Poo ice lollies, Poo burgers, how to have it with your Corn Flakes), what diet to go on to get that "perfect" poo be it consistency or..........eh..........specific taste, and they have a section on how to best store poo:
    It tastes best when it's same day fresh, preferably several hours after it was produced because this permits some nasty organisms to die off. Fermentation and putrefaction continue to occur when stored in the refrigerator even if only for a few days. Eat it at your own risk. When shìt is frozen, fermentation and putrefaction are prevented, but its texture is affected when it's thawed out.

    Thaw and/or reheat if desired by submerging in a sink full of warm water. Do not use the microwave! Sadly, a nice firm grogan can turn to mush after thawing. Of course, it will still work fine for smearing. BTW:

    Be careful what you store shìt in. By all means, securely wrap it in the clingy type of clear plastic wrap before you load it into your favorite Tupperware. Failure to use a good clingy wrap will allow odors to penetrate most other types of plastic wraps, bags, and wares even in the freezer!

    Of course, a Mason jar with a rubber gasket offers safe protection in the refrigerator, but the effects of freezing the jar are unknown to me.

    I also encountered a very strange, disturbed and unsettling Russian (or German, can't remember) forum that dealt with necrophilia. Was a derranged place with people posting pictures up new obituaries from papers where they then went to the actual grave and "did something" to that occupant's headstone, posting up pictures of the aftermath.

    There's quite a few more deranged forums I've seen throughout the years but those 2 stand out.
