Not sure where I should have posted this but anyway... Disaster since they've started clamping people in the lane outside. Used to always be able to get a spot in there. I live about 15 minutes drive away and don't have a bike. Could get the bus but I go at least 4 times a week so that would work out pretty expensive in the long run. Anyone able to PM me any good secret parking spots around the area? Anyone know if the clamping is going to stop? There's no signs to say you can't park there and there's no double yellow lines except down the very end of the lane. I'd have felt very hard done by if they caught me.

Didn't know this was happening. I was wondering why the lane has been so empty. Anyone know if it's NCPS clamping the cars or Dublin City Council?

Can anyone with Raw confirm clamping situation? That would be quite annoying if that was the case. I'll ask in the gym during week if no one can shed any light on it.

The gym has nothing to do with the clamping situation. Dublin City Council are clamping... there are 2 signs in the in the centre of the lane that state no parking either side at any time, they have always been there. They just never clamped until a couple of weeks ago, its a pain really.

Either they just decided to start recently or (and im just guessing) the local residents or the staff of the Bernard Shaw that use the lane for access may have complained. The lane was always used as an ad hoc park and ride for tradesmen and professionals working in the area and the lane was often wedged from 6am onwards.

Never noticed those signs myself. Will have to invest in a bike. Extra cardio FTW.
