Restoring cold storage files are delayed for 3-5 hours; however, recovery is extremely simple; just go to My Computer from the web console and select your cold storage files, once they are ready you will receive an email with a secure link to download these files or folders.

Yeah I wouldn't use it to store files that you need immediately. I'm going to continue using dropbox for immediate file sharing/backup. But this will be handy to finally backup my 80GB of photos off site. Although at ~250-300Kbps upload speeds it will probably take a few months before all my photos are up :-O

So I got the email to say my account is ready. Clicked on the link to download the app and installed it. Entered my email address and password but apparently this was incorrect so I clicked on "Forgot password". Reset password page opened and I entered my email address, same one I used to set up the account and the same one I received confirmation of my registration and notice that my account was ready. Got the message "No account with that email exists".

This happen to anyone else?

me too, and when i check the waiting queue it says currently updating servers

I think they are updating their servers, I just tried to check there and got that message, but had been able to check all along.

I have been sent mail to download a program and setup but when I try to create an account I getting an error message that I am in the wrong country. Anybody else get this? See attachment

Just got in today but 100GB (Have around 260GB of RAW photos) isn't really enough for me so I was looking at their other offerings.

These prices are ex Vat, which is annoying. I have paid one months worth to get 500GB, speeds are still abysmal. Its claiming 5.6Mbps upload but its nowhere near that. There is one photo uploading every 15 seconds or so...

I have been an hour uploading at this stage and only 230MB was uploaded which works out at an average speed of 65kB/s. Fcuk this, I'm asking for a refund...

Got in this afternoon. Not massively impressed with the interface or the lack of Linux support. Can't comment too much on the upload speed, line only supports about .7Mb and it's running at .5, so not too bad.

For the craic tried logging in from a Linux box and clicking the 'Download' link, got:

Ooops! We've noticed that you are on a Mac, we are working 24/7 to release it. It will be out April 30, 2013

From the website, you can view pictures instantly, but only a really useless low resolution version. The full version, or any other document type, takes the 3-5 hours to download.

Tried installing the Android app, which is utterly useless. Clicking on a picture doesn't even give you the low-res version, just a message telling me to use the web interface to view cold storage files.
There's a favorites section with a message saying "Start downloading your stuff here to view them offline" - clicking that gives a message saying "The favorite is empty".
There's no way to download anything, and no option to back up anything from the phone either. Beyond seeing a list of backed up files, there is literally zero functionality.

Overall, I'll use the free account as a secondary backup, but I checked out a few cloud backup services a few months ago, and these are nowhere near as good. I definitely wouldn't give them money until I'm sure they'll still be around in a year.

BTW the upload speed the App displays is about 10 times the real upload speed. Who are they trying to fool? :rolleyes:

At the upload speed I'm getting it could take the application a year to upload the 100GB.
