    Hi :-)

My 10 year old is very badly pigeon toe'd, we were hoping she might grow out of it, but no. All her life she has worn the best of shoes (not that i suppose that has anything to do with it) but it hasn't helped.

Yesterday I insisted that she change her shoes, as her basketball boots look ridiculous on her...when she walks. I think she might be flat footed too, as her feet 'fall inwards' in ALL here shoes.

Any advice please? Can this be fixed for her? Who should I go see about it? It is really starting to bother her. Can I just add my regular GP is a noob, an would see us visiting her about this a waste of time (even though we pay her well!) Thanks :-)

Change GPs. You should be able to bring all your family health concerns to your doctor without worrying about her reaction.

podiatrist will be best placed to advise on course of treatment which may include orthotics.

Have a look at podiatry.ie, limerickfootcare.com or istepclinic.com. Worth giving them or similar clinics a call or ask GP for recommendation.
