I would Lamps isn't a guaranteed starter - Rafatation and all that. Gerrard probably the safer choice, but you'll have a better idea after thursday, Chelsea play again on thursday. I have Lamps myself, so hoping he doesn't play.

I'd like to bring in Sagna as even though his form isn't good the manager seems to pick him when he's available. Wenger will want a settled back 4 for his run in so if he keeps his place for next weekend I'd say he's a banker to play both games in the dgw. Problem is I'd like to get him in this week as I want to get Fellaini for the dgw, wouldn't be averse to taking a hit for that and I could save my transfer this week, decisions, decisions.

Is Smalling established in the United defence now?

He's played 90 mins in the last 3 games and they haven't conceded a goal.

Wait and see how bad Rafaels injury is before bringing him .

no its just coincidence the way the fixtures panned out with cl fa cup internationals.Id say he will play one of the two dgw games at best.

Why would Lamps not be a guaranteed starter at this stage ? he has started the last 13 games in the league for Chelsea

Sturridge and Davies to Berbs and Sagna with 2 free transfers. Will probably do Mata and Michu to Fellaini and Cazorla next week for a 4 point hit leaving me with 7 dgw players.

Well, I suppose you're right, it is pretty probable that he will start. I just feel that, depending on which competition Chelsea are targeting, Rafa might choose to start him in Europe, and rest him in the PL. He has been rested in almost all of Chelseas cup games recently, I think.

So I think as a captain choice, he's probably not a good idea cos there's a bit of a risk there.

I really wanted to wait till the weekend to transfer Sturridge out for Berbatov but he is going up tonight . I could handle that but not another rise . How likely is that ?

i'd say he'll definetley rise again before the weekend, i'd imagine he'll rise .2 if not the full .3 after his recent performances and people gearing for the dgw.

did you mean you wanted to keep sturridge for the west ham game and then bring berbatov in or just wait until friday or saturday to do it incase there is any injuries?
if you plan on doing it before the 11:30 deadline on saturday i'd recommend just doing it now as berbatov will rise again and sturridge will most likely drop .1 before saturday.

Samba is going to be extremely fired up this weekend, he's been under attack for his wages etc since last night, I wouldn't be getting rid of him this week, if he doesn't perform I'd be happy to dump him then but I may have to wait another week.

Wanted to keep Sturridge for the west ham game. Have Gerrard though so ill probably just go for Berba now

i can see a big temptation to keep him for a home game to west ham but after them playing and winning without him he's not even guaranteed to start, personally i think he will but it's not nailed on. Berbatov plays against a fairly depleted newcastle defence and although it's away you'd still fancy fulham to score and usually berbatov is involved when they do score.

You'd probably be looking at a .3 swing if you keep sturridge, (berbatov rising .2 and sturridge probaly dropping .1) so if money is anyway tight in your squad i'd pull the trigger on it now, you have gerrard as cover from liverpool.

ifr sturridge did score 10+ points i doubt many people near the top of any leagus will still have him anyway.

Is anyone else looking at Gervinho as a possible transfer with the DGW in mind? He's 6.8, cheaper than Walcott who is lacking match fitness.

He's got 21 points in his last 3 games but sweet F.A prior to that! Just wondering if any Arsenal fans think he's worth a punt or will Theo be a shoe-in if he's fit?

Walcott is top scorer at the club. I can't see him being left out.

Gervinho played well at the weekend but it was against Reading who are woeful in defence.

    What's the latest on Walcott?

Might need to do the Cazorla transfer tonight as it looks like he'll probably go up.

for those keen on Berba this week...

    1) he's never been on a run of scoring like this. it's unlikely to continue.
    2) Fulham are generally shít away from home.
    3) Newcastle need to win, so will be fired up.

i'd get him in for the DGW, but IMO, this week is a bit too early if you haven't got him already.

i'll be keeping Sturridge this week, as I reckon he will at least start the next one. he'll more than likely be gone after that.

Agree with this. Fair play to whoever got him in for gameweek 27/28, it was a great move that has really payed off. Personaly i think it is a bit late to be getting him in now. Also one of his games in the double gameweek is Chelsea then followed by Arsenal and Everton.

If i was bringing him in it would be at the expense of Lambert who i think has really good fixtures on paper. All games Southampton can win except maybe Spurs.

Anyone care to comment on Coleman's chances of selection over the next few weeks?

He starts every game but he is a midfielder playing in defence ?

He's played the last four but had missed three before that, presume he was injured?

He was . But do you really want a midfielder playing in defence ? You won't get the clean sheet bonus and he sets up very little

Defoe out for 3 games in case anybody is considering transferring in a Spurs player.

No offence, but how is that team in the top 1000?
It seems very average? Especially with 0 in the bank?
You mustve had a great run at some point yet sold all your most expensive players at the wrong times?

Ditch either Begovic or Bunn for a better keeper. Preferrably de Gea if you can wiggle some cash out of somewone like Turner?

I'm not near the top 1000, so probably not in the best position to advise you!

But your mids look weak for the DGW33. Michu and Bale no game, Puncheon probably not playing. It's a bit boring, but I would bank your transfer for this week, then next week get rid of Michu and Puncheon, for Fellaini, and someone else with a double game week.

    oiii!
    must be my great tactics!

Would it be worth replacing Nastasic with Zabaleta or should I opt for a dgw player instead? Am I right in thinking that City are due a double gameweek in the near future?
