Have you just been using your Irish address or parcel motel? or do you live in UK

    Parcel motel.

I just had an email from Agne who was VERY helpful. I explained the BT1 1AA post code scenario and my amended delivery address was accepted! I must say I am VERY impressed with their prompt and efficient Customer Service. That alone ensures I will be using them a lot more in future!

So did you use an Irish address with the BT1 1AA postal code?

I used "n / a" as my postcode and got all the way through to payment with Paypal.

Maybe I just got lucky with my order shipping to Ireland?!

Batman: Arkham City for Xbox 360 €9.12 :)

    Amazon €10.95

Not much difference as the price is low but nice all the same.

It won't work if they are using a courier company for shipping as it will be return back as the address is incorrect for that post code, if using Royal Mail you might or might not get it as some items with that code are been sent back to sender specially if they need signature. I wonder if they will give you a refund if you do not get it as the address is incorrect.

For the laugh I went to see what they could do on a set of alloys and they actually gave me a price on them! 3% saving only mind so not really worth it when you don't know where they're coming from but still fair play to them didn't expect them to be able to do that.

Got a text off Parcel Motel last night out of the blue to say my package was waiting for me at the lockers. Battled through a blizzard to get there. V. quick delivery, only ordered on Saturday.

Funny thing was, I only got the dispatch email from Flubit this morning(which I read on my lovely new phone that they had just sent me).

Will definitely be using this crowd again anyway.

How did you get it delivered to parcel motel. It says that the delivery address needs to be verified against a credit card. How did you get around this ?

I put in a request at lunchtime for an IPod Mini that is £261 on Amazon. Minutes ago I got a reply, quoting me the same model for £249.

Not sure what you mean. Are you talkig about PM or Flubit?

It wasn't my first time using Parcel Motel, and I just used my regular PayPal account which already had a credit card attached. There wasn't any verification process.

HTC 8X. Got it for €395, sim-free, would be looking at paying up to €529 in Carphone Warehouse under certain carriers.

My question was how did you get it delivered to Parcel motel through Flubit if they are looking for a verified address. I think you answered my question though

Yeah, they never looked for a verified address. I assume they asked you?
Also, I had already added the Parcel Motel address to my PayPal account if that's any use to you.

That might do the trick alright, cheers

I would say the snow up the north slowed things down a little, Saturday is the day if you ordered around the same time as me (19th March)

Funny thing is they come from Dublin anyhow!

It took you that long? I ordered on the Saturday just gone and it arrived on Wednesday, three working days in total.

You get yours from Flubit or Google?

I'm still waiting and ordered mine on Flubit on the 20th. Still hasn't shipped yet.

It was a Windows Phone, with a demand created through an Amazon listing. It arrived in a fairly anonymous looking package though, so I can't say where it shipped from. No invoice was included either.

Ordered 1x 320GB 7200 RPM hard drive... saving shown of ~£7, or 14ish%

Received 2x 320GB 5400 RPM hard drive

    Edit:

Neither of which work, as it turns out. Also, the packaging was terrible... the HDDs were in their little antistatic bags, and just packed in a jiffybag. Whenever I have bought from more mainstream suppliers, they are double boxed and packaged in layers of foam and bubblewrap.

This 3TB seagate drive ( http://amazon.co.uk/dp/B006KCX0UE ) was £98 on amazon, I asked for a quote from Flubit during which time the amazon price fell to £89, Flubit quoted me £82 inc delivery. Should get it via parcel motel over the next day or two.

Tbh, I don't think saving €4.80 (based on XE exchange rates, and including €3.50 PM charge) is worth it - personally, I would prefer to be dealing directly with Amazon if/when any problems arise.

I've put up a fair few demands over the last few days, and some of the stuff has come up fairly cheap - ordered a monitor arm through them (16% saving). The demands i created since i tried to get the cheapest price through the google price comparison uk website https://www.google.co.uk/shopping and they have beaten it everytime. The minimum was 6% in an intel quad core processor. The highest was this bitfenix case

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/BitFenix-Prodigy-Mini-ITX-Geh%C3%A4use-Netzteil/dp/B008BZYJ6W/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1364726373&sr=8-2

£72 on amazon and they came back with ~£47. I started with a link from a different store though(£53, i have no idea whether its legit) which is why i have held off buying.
